How do we know that Christ is the King of kings?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is recognized as the King of kings due to His fulfillment of prophecy and His mediatorial rule established through His sacrificial death and resurrection.

Christ's kingship is established through both His divinity and His humanity. As God, He has always been King, but as the God-man, His role as King was confirmed through His redemptive work on the cross. Scriptures like Acts 2 affirm that, because of Christ's accomplishments, God has exalted Him as both Lord and Savior. The prophecy in Genesis 49:10 foresaw a king from the tribe of Judah, ultimately fulfilled in Jesus, who holds a scepter of righteousness. His governance is marked by grace, contrasting the oppressive rule of earthly kings, as He gives us righteousness instead of taking from us.
