How do we know that Christ is the sole means of salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture consistently affirms that Christ alone is the means by which God's people are saved.

The doctrine that salvation is only through Christ is supported throughout Scripture. Ephesians 1:4-5 indicates that God chose His people before the foundation of the world, and this choice is based solely on His sovereign grace. Furthermore, Hebrews 10:14 states that by one offering, Christ has perfected forever those who are sanctified—showing that His sacrifice is sufficient for the salvation of His elect. Any other grounds for salvation, such as human merit, would undermine God's honor and contradict the gospel's proclamation of grace.
