How do we know that Christ's obedience is the ground of our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ’s obedience, culminating in His death on the cross, is the foundation of our salvation as it fulfills the law and bears our sins.

The obedience of Christ is established as the grounds for our salvation throughout Scripture, especially in Philippians 2:8, where it states that He 'humbled Himself and became obedient unto death.' His perfect obedience to the Father serves as a substitute for our disobedience, fulfilling the demands of the law on our behalf. This truth is echoed in other passages, such as Romans 5:19, which states, 'For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.' Thus, the entire basis of our salvation rests on Christ’s sacrificial act and His righteousness being imputed to us, allowing us to stand justified before God.
