How do we know that God reigns over all things?

Answered in 1 source

We know God reigns because Scripture assures us that He has all authority in heaven and earth.

The reign of God is a foundational concept that brings comfort and assurance to believers. Isaiah 52:7 declares, 'Thy God reigneth,' emphatically stating God's sovereign rule over all creation. The affirmation of God's sovereignty is echoed across the Psalms, such as in Psalm 146:10, which states, 'The Lord shall reign forever.' This sovereignty assures us that, regardless of circumstances or worldly leaders, God's purposes will be accomplished. Romans 8:28 further reassures us that all things will work together for good for those who love Him, confirming that His reign is actively fulfilling His divine plan for His people.
