How do we know that God's authority is important for Christians?

Christianity emphasizes the authority of God as central to faith and practice. The rejection of God's ordained authority led to chaos in Israel, as illustrated by Korah's rebellion. Just as Moses and Aaron were appointed by God, we must recognize and submit to the authority of church leaders who preach the gospel truth.
