How do we know that God's covenant of grace is better?

The assertion that the covenant of grace is superior to the covenant of works is firmly anchored in the reality that the former ensures salvation through Christ’s atonement. In Exodus 19, the covenant God made with Israel through Moses required obedience, which no one could fulfill completely. However, the covenant of grace, as elaborated in the New Testament, is unconditional and is fulfilled in Christ who obeyed the law perfectly and died for our sins.
