How do we know that God's elect are secure in faith?

The security of God's elect is founded on the unchanging nature of God’s purpose and the foundation He lays in the hearts of His people. According to 2 Timothy 2:19, 'the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal: The Lord knoweth them that are his.' This indicates that God's elect are known by Him in a personal and intimate way that surpasses mere knowledge. It affirms that God’s elect, being chosen and sealed by Him, will ultimately not fall away. Even when believers may stray momentarily due to life's challenges, God, in His faithfulness, ensures they are brought back to Himself, thus guaranteeing their perseverance in faith throughout their entire lives.
