How do we know that Jesus cares about church health?

In the letters to the seven churches found in Revelation, Jesus expresses His deep concern for the spiritual state of the churches. Specifically, in Revelation 2:2-3, He acknowledges the hard work, patience, and discernment of the church at Ephesus while also pointing out their need to return to their first love. This illustrates that Jesus is not passive about church health; He actively exhorts congregations to align their practices and love for Him with the truth of the gospel. A healthy church, in Christ's eyes, is one where love for Him and for one another prevails.
