How do we know that Jesus is our banner?

Jesus Christ is recognized as our banner, Jehovah-Nissi, because of His role as the leader who goes before us in our spiritual battles. The scripture notes that Jesus declared, 'All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.' This illustrates that He is not a weak banner, but a mighty one under which we find victory. Just as Moses lifted the rod in battle, signifying divine power, when we lift Jesus up in our lives, we align ourselves with His authority and truth, enabling us to conquer spiritual adversities that come our way.
