How do we know that Jesus' sacrifice for our sins was sufficient?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' resurrection confirms that His sacrifice was sufficient to atone for our sins.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the ultimate affirmation of the sufficiency of His atoning sacrifice. He did not die merely to make salvation possible; His death paid the penalty for the sins of His people in full. Romans 4:25 says that He was raised for our justification, meaning His resurrection is a declaration from God that the debt of sin has been completely satisfied. If Christ had not risen, we would have no assurance of our salvation, but because He lives, we know that He defeated sin and death, and that those who trust in Him are justified and secure in their salvation.
