How do we know that Noah was chosen by God's grace?

The Bible does not provide an exhaustive account of Noah's life before God’s declaration that he found grace in God's eyes. However, the text indicates that Noah was a sinner like everyone else and needed grace for salvation. His righteousness was not inherent but a result of God's sovereign grace working through the promised Messiah.
