How do we know that nothing can separate us from Christ?

Answered in 1 source

We know that nothing can separate us from Christ because Scripture explicitly states that God's love prevails over all adversities and tribulations.

In Romans 8:35-39, Paul lists various trials and tribulations that might seem capable of separating us from Christ's love, such as tribulation, distress, persecution, and other hardships. However, he concludes that none of these challenges can separate the believer from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. This assurance is rooted in God's sovereign love and purpose for His elect, affirming that despite any circumstances we face, God's commitment to our salvation and His protective love remains steadfast. Consequently, we are encouraged to trust in this promise that our status in Christ guarantees our inseparability from His love.
