How do we know the blessings of God are irreversible?

Answered in 1 source

God's blessings are described as irreversible because what He has ordained cannot be undone by any man or power.

The irreversibility of God's blessings is a foundational concept in sovereign grace theology. In the sermon, it is emphasized that God is not like man, who can change plans or intentions. When Balaam declared that he received a commandment to bless Israel and that God had blessed them, he confidently stated that this blessing could not be reversed. This certainty stems from the character of God, who is immutable and faithful to His promises, ensuring that His people, who are blessed, remain under His blessing regardless of external opposition.
