How do we know the covenant of grace is sufficient for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The covenant of grace is sufficient because it is based on Christ's perfect obedience and sacrifice, fulfilling all God's requirements.

The sufficiency of the covenant of grace rests on the person and work of Jesus Christ. Unlike the old covenant, which could not perfect or save, the new covenant established by Christ's blood assures that all who come to Him in faith are saved. According to Hebrews 7:19, the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope through Christ allows us to draw near to God. Thus, salvation is not contingent on human effort but entirely on Christ’s finished work, making it a certain and complete provision for all believers.
