How do we know the importance of redeeming the time?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible emphasizes redeeming the time as a vital act of worship and service, especially as we recognize the time for salvation is short (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Redeeming the time is crucial because our lives are limited, and we are called to make the most of every opportunity while we still have breath. Paul instructs us in Ephesians 5:15-16 to walk wisely and to redeem the time because the days are evil. The urgency is further underscored in 2 Corinthians 6:2, where the apostle proclaims that today is the day of salvation. Christians are therefore compelled to engage in service, calling others to Christ and living a life that reflects His grace. Our awareness of life's brevity should motivate us to invest our time in spiritual pursuits that bear eternal fruit.
