How do we know the Scriptures are God's revelation?

Answered in 1 source

The Scriptures are the complete and perfect revelation of God's glory, showing His plan for salvation through Jesus Christ.

Psalm 19 also emphasizes the importance of God's Word as a revelation of His glory, stating that the law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul. This Word provides comprehensive knowledge about God's character, the nature of sin, and the means of salvation through Christ. As Paul tells Timothy, the Scriptures are able to make one wise unto salvation, highlighting their reliability and divine origin. Unlike general revelation in nature, which is limited, the Scriptures provide a fuller understanding of God’s grace and the gift of salvation available through faith in Christ alone.
