How do we know we have access to God?

Answered in 1 source

We have access to God through the blood of Jesus, which grants us boldness to approach the throne of grace.

Believers have confident access to God because of the sacrificial work of Christ. Hebrews 10:19-20 teaches that we can enter into the holy presence of God by the blood of Jesus, which signifies that our sins have been dealt with once for all. This divine access is not based on our worthiness but on Christ's perfect obedience and atoning death. When we approach God, we do so with the assurance that He hears us because we come in Christ's name, and not in our own merit.
