How does Paul's teaching on righteousness differ from hyper grace?

Answered in 1 source

Paul teaches that while believers are justified by faith, they are also called to actively pursue righteousness, unlike the concept of hyper grace which dismisses the need for moral striving.

The sermon elucidates that true grace does not encourage passivity in the face of sin or overlook the call to holiness. While believers are assured of their salvation through grace alone, they are expected to work out that salvation in their daily lives, rejecting sin and pursuing righteousness. Hyper grace, in contrast, may promote a belief that one can live in unrepentant sin without consequence, thus undermining the essence of genuine faith, which always results in a desire to live righteously as a reflection of Christ’s work in the believer's heart.
