What does Hebrews 8 tell us about Christ's sacrifice?

Answered in 1 source

Hebrews 8 reveals that Christ's sacrifice is the perfect propitiation that satisfies God's justice, unlike the sacrifices of the old covenant.

In Hebrews 8, the distinction between Christ's sacrifice and the old covenant sacrifices is made clear. The blood of bulls and goats, used in the old covenant, could not take away sins (Hebrews 10:4), whereas Christ's sacrifice was perfect and effective, paying the sin debt once and for all. His blood is described as the means through which believers are cleansed from all unrighteousness and justified before God. This perfect sacrifice makes Him the ultimate high priest, standing at the right hand of the Father, continually interceding for His chosen people, which underscores the superiority of the new covenant.
