What does it mean that Christ opened heaven for us?

In Revelation 19:11, we see the imagery of heaven being opened. This signifies that Christ, through His atoning work on the cross, has made a way for sinners to be reconciled to God. His death and resurrection not only secured the forgiveness of our sins but also established a new covenant relationship through which believers can approach God's throne with confidence. Hebrews 10 emphasizes this access, explaining that because we are washed in His blood and clothed in His righteousness, we can come boldly to the Father.
