What does it mean that Christ quenches our spiritual thirst?

In John 4:14, Jesus offers the living water that will satisfy the spiritual thirst of those who believe in Him. This living water signifies the eternal life and righteousness that He provides through His sacrificial death and resurrection. When a believer places their faith in Christ, they receive the fullness of His grace and assurance of salvation, essentially being filled with the blessings of the new covenant.
