What does it mean to be united under Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Being united under Christ refers to the collective identity and purpose of believers as the body of Christ.

To be united under Christ means that all believers are incorporated into His body and share a common life through their relationship with Him. This unity transcends individual divisions among believers, whether cultural, social, or theological. In Ephesians 4:3, Paul emphasizes maintaining the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, signifying that our connection to one another is anchored in our connection to Christ. The unity of the church is modeled after the unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, displaying that true fellowship and harmony arise from Christ’s redemptive work. Therefore, Christians are called to reflect this unity in their love for one another, manifesting the nature of Christ within the world.
