What does the Bible say about being quickened by God's grace?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that being quickened means being made alive spiritually, a process also referred to as regeneration.

In Ephesians 2:1, Paul states, 'And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.' This quickening is the act of God making an individual spiritually alive after being dead in sin. It signifies regeneration, where a person is not merely reformed but is given new spiritual life by the Holy Spirit. Without this divine intervention, a person remains spiritually dead and unable to understand or receive the things of God.
