In Judges chapter six, Gideon is presented as a leader chosen by God to save Israel from the oppressive Midianites. Despite his initial doubt and perceived weakness, Gideon became a powerful example of God's strength manifested through human frailty. As noted in Hebrews 11, Gideon is celebrated among the faithful who, through their faith, acted justly and achieved great victories not by their own power, but by trusting in the divine promises of God.
