What does the Bible say about God's purpose in our failures?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that God's eternal purpose stands firm despite our failures and sins.

In Psalm 36, we see how God's plan is never thwarted by human actions. Regardless of the blunders and mistakes we make, including parenting failures, God's eternal purpose remains intact. This is a comforting truth for believers, as we can trust that God's sovereignty oversees even our shortcomings. The Apostle Paul reinforces this in Romans 8:28, reminding us that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Our ineptitude does not hinder God's divine orchestration of events nor His redemptive work in our lives and the lives of our loved ones.
