What does the Bible say about newness of life?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible teaches that believers in Christ experience a newness of life, being dead to the law and justified by Christ's body.

In Romans 7, the Apostle Paul speaks of newness of life as a result of a believer's union with Christ. Believers are considered dead to the law, which means that the law can no longer condemn them. They are justified before God through the sacrifice of Christ, who paid the debt for their sins. This justification leads to a right relationship with God, enabling believers to bear fruit unto Him. This fruit is not the source of salvation but is the evidence of a transformation that occurs through faith in Christ.
