Satan's goal is clearly outlined in scripture, particularly in 2 Corinthians 4:3-4, where it states that if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those who are lost. This means that Satan works to blind the minds of those who do not believe, preventing them from seeing the light of the glorious gospel of Christ. Thus, his ultimate aim is to keep sinners from recognizing the righteousness and glory of God as manifested in Jesus Christ. By maintaining this blindness, he can effectively control them within a false understanding of salvation.
