What does the Bible say about the better covenant?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible explains that the better covenant is established by Jesus Christ, who serves as the mediator of a covenant based on better promises.

The better covenant refers to the New Covenant brought forth by Jesus Christ. Hebrews 8:6 states that 'now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry' as the mediator of a better covenant, which is established upon better promises. In contrast to the Old Covenant, the law did not provide the means for salvation or make anyone perfect. Instead, the New Covenant, ratified by the blood of Christ, offers the hope and assurance of salvation because it is grounded in what Christ has accomplished alone, rather than any works of man.
