What does the Bible say about the court of conscience?

Answered in 1 source

The court of conscience is where individuals judge right from wrong and grapple with their guilt before God.

The court of conscience is essentially the seat of judgment within our hearts and minds where we evaluate our actions against God's standards. According to the preacher, this court deals with three critical issues: guilt, repentance, and sorrow. Guilt is experienced when our conscience accuses us of wrongdoing, and true guilt points to our need for God's mercy. Without addressing this guilt through faith in Christ, we face condemnation, as explained in Romans 3:23 and 6:23.
