When should believers be baptized?

Answered in 1 source

Believers should be baptized as soon as possible after coming to faith in Christ.

Ideally, baptism should take place immediately following a person's conversion to faith in Christ. In the New Testament, we see this pattern where individuals, after hearing the gospel and being convicted, respond promptly in baptism (Acts 2:41). This demonstrates the urgency of publicly acknowledging one’s faith and commitment to Christ. Delaying baptism can lead to misunderstanding and confusion regarding the significance of this ordinance in a believer's life.
