Who is worthy to take the Lord's Supper?

Answered in 1 source

Only believers who trust in Christ for salvation are considered worthy to partake in the Lord's Supper.

In 1 Corinthians 11:27-29, Paul indicates that partaking of the Lord’s Supper should be done in a worthy manner, meaning one must discern the body of Christ and believe in the significance of His sacrifice. This means the supper is not for those who do not have faith in Christ as their Savior. Believers are encouraged to examine themselves to ensure they are resting in Christ’s righteousness alone. True worthiness comes not from personal merit but from faith in Christ’s sacrificial death and the grace provided through Him.
