Why are trials necessary for believers?

Trials serve as a means by which God reveals and strengthens our faith. In 1 Peter 1:6-7, it is explained that while our faith will be tested, this testing is ultimately for our good. Through trials, we come to a more profound understanding of our need for Christ and His righteousness. Furthermore, Hebrews 12 discusses God’s discipline, indicating that trials are also a form of corrective love from God, ensuring that we grow closer to Him.
