Why is understanding that God is at peace with us important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Understanding God's peace reassures Christians of their security and acceptance in Him.

For Christians, recognizing that God is at peace with them provides immense comfort and security. Despite the many adversities and enemies believers face, the assurance that God holds no enmity toward His people allows them to face challenges with confidence. Romans 5:1 states, 'Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.' This peace enables believers to endure struggles, knowing their standing before God is secure and that His love for them is unwavering. This understanding fosters a deep trust in God’s provision and care throughout their lives.
