Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This is Senator Save coming at
you with the following short evangelistic gospel message.
And God willing, this broadcast will reach you, Lima Charlie,
loud and clear. It is my hope and prayer unto
God Most High, the only Holy Father, that His only begotten
Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness, be greatly exalted,
that His everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed, that the
pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and that His
elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted in these
perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy and wretched sinners
by His sovereign free grace. That is to say, Almighty God
in His unmerited favor to save me and you from our sins and
from hell." The Gospel Believer, Part 2. Christ is all and in
all, Colossians 3.11. Have you ever felt that as a
follower of Christ, you are a complete failure? In this scenario, you
have two choices. Number one, quit. 2. Learn to
believingly preach the gospel to yourself. What do I mean by
preaching the gospel to yourselves? I mean that we should continually
remind ourselves that our acceptance in heaven is neither because
of us nor because of our works or successes. Our acceptance
in heaven is because of the person and work of another, the Lord
Jesus Christ. We are not the center of all
things. Jesus is, and it's the Father's
verdict on Christ that is of central importance. And what
is the Father's verdict? His verdict on Christ is, this
is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3.17. That is why today believers are
accepted in the Beloved. See Ephesians 1.6. And that means
you. You may be dejected and distressed
when you look at yourself, but preach the gospel to yourself
and apply it. Speak to yourself in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs. Ephesians 5.19. For example,
quote the words of a gospel hymn and say, Arise, my soul, arise! Shake off thy guilty fears! The bloody sacrifice on my behalf
appears! Before the throne my surety stands! My name is written on His hands! Tell yourself that you have a
savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by his death has cleansed
your failures. Tell yourself that he was raised
from the dead and now ever lives as our high priest in heaven.
God does not see our sins and count them against us. What does
God see? He sees our perfect priest, his
perfect son, the one and only perfect human, his perfect sacrifice,
his perfect blood, And the even more wonderful truth is that
Jesus does not have to even say anything on our behalf. All he
has to do is appear for us. See Hebrews 9 verses 24 through
28. The Father sees our priest's
entire perfections and is more than satisfied with him. Yes,
indeed, God wants us to confess our sins, but we are not to make
them the focus of our life. Instead, He wants us to focus
on Christ, His finished work in resurrection. By doing so,
we have the surest way to grow in grace. The Father looks at
us through the lens of Christ Jesus. He blesses us, though
we don't deserve it. See Ephesians 1, 3. The blood
of Christ blots out our sins like a cloud. See Isaiah 44,
22. Our sins are cast into the depths
of the sea." Micah 7, 19. We are full of sin and by rights
should be punished, but Christ has been punished in our stead. Romans 5, verses 6 through 9. Keep telling yourself and confessing
these kinds of gospel truths. How substandard are our works,
we dare not bring them before God as evidence that we should
in any way be blessed. Our works? What a wretched addition
to make to the glorious finished work. The gospel truth is that
all the merits of Jesus have become our merits. They are imputed
or reckoned to us. Likewise, all the sufferings
of Jesus are now reckoned as our sufferings. A gospel preacher
said, you stand before God as if you were Christ, because Christ
stood before God as if he were you. And that's the gospel truth. From preacher Miles McKee. Oh,
what a wonder to my soul, tis love beyond degree. In matchless,
free, and sovereign grace, the Lord remembers me. The Father
chose me for His own in old eternity. And when He gave me to His Son,
the Lord remembered me. In time, the Son of God came
down, t'was by divine decree. He came to save me from my sin. The Lord remembered me. Christ
satisfied God's holy law and died on Calvary. My guilt and
shame He took away, for He remembered me. I praise the Spirit of the
Lord, who came so graciously and gave me faith to trust the
Son, for He remembered me. O Lord, I am a sinner vile, but
Thy rich grace is free. So look on Christ my righteousness,
and then remember me. As through this life I travel
on, each day my prayer shall be, show mercy on my sinful soul,
dear Lord, remember me. And when I close my eyes in death
to face eternity, be pleased, almighty Savior, then to still
remember me. True faith acknowledges sinfulness. It cannot be that any person
is serious about being saved who has not found out by the
revelation of the Spirit that they are lost in sin and desperately
wicked in the heart. None will come to Christ until
the Lord reveals that they need the blessed Savior. Hear the
Master's words where Christ spoke in Mark 2.17. They that are whole
have no need of a physician, but they that are sick, I came
not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Who will
come to Christ for cleansing except those who have discovered
that they are filthy? Who will draw near to the great
high priest for acceptance before God except those who have been
taught that by the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified
in his sight? Who will approach the one mediator
between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, except those who
have learned that they are alienated from God? who will draw near
to Christ to be saved by His blood in righteousness, but those
whose righteousness has been exposed as being filthy rags."
See Isaiah 64 6. The Holy Spirit will show to
every sinner in whom he affectionately works the insufficiency of their
will, works, or worth to answer to the demands of a holy God
and the necessity, therefore, of the substitutionary death
of Christ to satisfy divine justice. When someone truly believes on
the Lord Jesus Christ, their faith implies a heart agreement
with the accuracy of the word of God concerning their guilt
and sinfulness. Sharp message from preacher Jim
Bird of 13th Street Baptist Church located in Ashland, Kentucky,
USA. It is written in Jonah 2.9, salvation
is of the Lord. What wonderful, lovely, simple,
and amazing truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's a singular
truth. He has it and no one else. It's
a sovereign truth. He dispenses it as He pleases. It's an urgent truth. Don't delay. Come to Him this hour for it.
It's an original truth. Salvation starts with no other
than Christ our Lord. It's a lasting truth. Salvation
has always been and shall ever be found in this one person by
his one work for his own people. Concluding truth. He's the alpha
and omega of salvation. Gracious truth. For it proceeds
from the most gracious Redeemer. Absolute truth. No wavering about
it. No arguing with it. No changing
of guard here. It stops with Him in whom we
have to do. It's a humbling truth. We cannot
produce it or get it on our own by our will, worth or merit. But folks, it's a satisfying
truth. The sheep would have it no other
way. True faith. When the Lord is
pleased to bring a person to Christ in faith, He takes away
his despair, but not his sorrow, over sin. True faith gives a
person pardon, but does not make him presumptuous. True faith
gives a person rest and assurance in Christ, but does not allow
him to be indifferent and leave off being watchful and dedicated
to spiritual growth. True faith gives a person strength,
knowledge, and a good hope, but it never promotes pride nor allows
him to boast. True faith brings a person to
live for God, but at the same time makes him more attentive
to his earthly relationships and duties. He becomes a more
loving, caring, generous husband, wife, parent, brother, sister,
and neighbor. When Paul said to the Roman church,
Your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world." Romans 1.8. It is certain he referred to
their labor of love and works of faith. For true faith can
only be revealed to others by the fruit of faith. One cannot
see our hearts, but they can see and hear what comes from
our hearts and hands. That was from old-timer preacher
Henry Mahan, a few years ago, went on to be with the Lord Jesus
Christ in paradise. It is written in Isaiah 45, 22,
where our Lord Jesus Christ commands, look unto me and be ye saved,
all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else.
The master, Christ Jesus, says in Matthew 11, verses 28 through
30, come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and
I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn
of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart. And ye shall find rest
unto your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Friends, it is imperative that
you flee to Christ Jesus the Lord today, not tomorrow, for
none of us are promised another day on this planet. Today is
the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ while He may be found, and seek Him while He
is near, only by being in Christ. the ark of our salvation. May we be delivered from the
fierce wrath of Almighty God which is coming soon upon the
wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken
His sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women and children around
the world to His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our
righteousness. Yehovah Sidkenu! Bless the name! Baruch Hashem! Holy One of Israel! HaKadosh Yisrael! Hallelujah! Holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty,
which was and is and is to come! Great is our Lord Jesus Christ,
and greatly to be praised. Take heart, friends. Our mighty
and glorious King of Glory is inbound for His afflicted saints. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Maranatha.
