Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This
is Sinner Saved coming at you with the following short evangelistic
gospel message, and God willing, this broadcast will reach you.
Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope and prayer unto
God most high, the only Holy Father, that is only begotten
Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness. be greatly exalted,
that his everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed, that the
pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and that his
elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted in these
evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy, and wretched sinners
by his sovereign free grace. That is to say, Almighty God
in His unmerited favor to save me and you from our sins and
from hell. Be still my soul, submit, rejoice. God governs everything. Bow down
in worship at his feet and praise the sovereign king. Our father's
will forever stands and changed it cannot be. Jehovah reigns
throughout the world by absolute decree. God is the ruler over
all. His will shall none frustrate,
for who could challenge or defeat the mighty potentate? "'Tis here
that troubled saints shall find joy, comfort, peace, and rest,
and all things see the will of God, for what He does is best. So let us lean upon the Lord,
trusting His tender care, rejoicing in His perfect will, and nevermore
despair." A reading from Ephesians 1-3. Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed
us with all spiritual blessings and heavenly places in Christ. Roland Hill was a gospel preacher
in London, England in the mid 18th century. It is said that
a kind and generous person in his congregation gave him a hundred
pounds, equivalent to 125 US dollars. to be distributed to a poor country
preacher a little at a time. The pastor sent five pounds in
an envelope with a short note to the needy preacher that simply
read, more to follow. After a few days, he sent him
five more pounds, again with a note which read, more to follow. In a few days time, the country
preacher received another envelope containing another five pounds
with the same motto, and more to follow. This continued till
the entire amount had been received, and the astonished preacher was
well familiar with the cheerful words, more to follow. They were
imprinted in his memory. Children of God, we read that
we were blessed in Christ before the world began with all spiritual
blessings. Each day is filled with good
things from our kind and generous Lord who gave us Christ in Him
and in Him all things. Every day we are reminded that
He gives us daily blessings that we enjoy, and each one comes
to us with the same soul-cheering note and more to follow. It is
as though the Lord has said to us, I gave you to Christ in sovereign,
eternal love, but there's more to follow. I have adopted you
into my family, but there's more to follow. Through the bloody
sacrifice of my son, I have forgiven you of all your sins and will
remember them no more, but there's more to follow. You have my abiding
presence with you always, but there's more to follow. I give
you sufficient grace to help in time of need, but there's
more to follow. I will never leave thee nor forsake
thee, but there's more to follow. Yea, when you walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will be with thee, but there's
more to follow. And the Savior says to us, Someday
I will receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may
be also. But rest assured, there is an
eternity of blessings that will follow. The hundred British pounds
designated for the needy preacher eventually ran out, but the blessings
of the Lord to his needy children will never be exhausted. Child
of God, always keep in mind, there's more to follow. Good
message from preacher Jim Bird. Why me, Lord? By the grace of
God, I am what I am. Oh, what was I that God should
set his love upon me before time, and in time to call me to the
saving knowledge of his son, whom to know aright is life eternal. Why me, Lord? And what am I,
even now, since I have felt something of the power of His precious
gospel? Why me, Lord? What was I? What am I that I should be eternally
chosen and effectually called and perfectly accepted in the
Beloved? Not unto me in the least, not
unto me, but unto Your sovereign grace be all the praise. Oh,
help me to ascribe to you the glory due to your great name,
for I am surrounded, I am loaded with your benefits. All your
dealings with me show forth your loving kindness. In temporals
as well as spirituals, I am singularly favored. Oh, let me never be
allowed to rob you of your glory, but help me to give it all where
it is due, in life and death and to all eternity, to Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit, amen. By the grace of God, I am what
I am. That was from preacher William
Romaine. I will hear what God the Lord
will speak, for he will speak peace unto his people and to
his saints, but let them not turn again to folly. Psalm 85,
eight. Our only hope for salvation is
to hear what God the Lord will speak from his word as he leads
us sinners to the Lord Jesus Christ for all salvation and
all eternal blessedness. God will speak peace unto his
people and to his saints. This describes God's people whom
he chose to save in and by Christ before the foundation of the
world. He sends forth the Holy Spirit
to bring them to the true gospel and reveals to and in them the
only way of peace and reconciliation with him by the righteousness
of Christ imputed to them. Friends, see Romans 1 verses
16 through 17 and 2 Corinthians 5 verses 19 through 21. This peace is the assurance of
salvation that can only be found in Christ, the glory of his person
as God manifests in the flesh, the spotless lamb who is surety,
substitute, redeemer, preserver, and protector of his people for
whom he obeyed unto death and rose again from the grave. The
problem with men and women by nature, left to themselves and
to their own natural wills, is that they will not hear, they
will not heed, listen to, and obey God's Word to find the true
peace that can only be found in Christ and His righteousness
alone. They will listen to Satan and
his false preachers who speak peace when there is no peace.
See John 8, 44. They will listen to their own
deceptive hearts, which will grant them the false peace of
false religion. See Jeremiah 17, 9. But they
will not listen to the word of God and his preachers who preach
his word. 1 Corinthians 2, 14. God be thanked
that he has brought his people to repent of all that foolishness
and heed his word of sovereign grace for sinners in the Lord
Jesus Christ. That was from preacher Bill Parker.
Look to Christ, not your obedience. Those who profess to believe
on Christ but who do not seek to follow the Lord and seek to
honor Him in their lives have an empty and worthless profession. Christ said, if you love me,
keep my commandments. A sinner who has been regenerated
by the Holy Spirit and brought genuine faith in the Son of God
will endeavor to adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. See Titus 2.10. Though we know
we are sinful in ourselves, yet we do seek to glorify the Lord
as we go about our daily activities. However, we must never look to
our obedience, which is imperfect at best, in any measure as the
means of acceptance with God. Those who seek God's approval
by any other way than the blood and righteousness of Christ will
someday learn they made a fatal mistake." Very outstanding message
from preacher Jim Byrd. in Christ. If thou art in Christ,
thou art beheld righteous in his righteousness. And as thy
surety, what he wrought and what he suffered was for thee. So that in this sense, thou art,
as Christ tells the church, all fair, and there is no spot in
thee. So that amidst all thy groans
for the remains of indwelling sin and groan thou dost daily. And as thou sometimes art prompted
to think, There is growing imperfection in thee, yet in Jesus, as thou
art found and beheld in him. Sin is pardoned, and thy person
accepted, and thou art in a state of justification before God and
the righteousness of God thy Savior. And as this is so essential
to be known and enjoyed, see to it, my soul, that thou livest
upon it. Go in the strength of Christ's
righteousness every day to the throne, pleading that righteousness
and that only. And under a perfect conviction
that not a single sin of thine was left out when Jesus bore
the sins of his people on the tree, beg for grace to exercise
faith and to know that in Jesus thou art justified before God
and that God hath cast all thy sins into the depths of the sea. That was from old timer preacher
Robert Hawker. Substitution. In one word, the
great fact on which the Christian's hope rests is substitution. The vicarious sacrifice of Christ
for the sinner. Christ's suffering for the sinner.
Christ being made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness
of God in him. Christ offering up a true and
proper substitutionary sacrifice in the place of as many as father
gave him who are recognized by their trusting in him. This is
the cardinal fact of the gospel. Substitution is the very marrow
of the whole Bible, the soul of salvation, the essence of
the gospel. We ought to saturate all our
sermons with it, for it is the lifeblood of a gospel ministry. Very well stated. It is written
in Isaiah 45 22 where our Lord Jesus Christ commands Look unto
me and be ye saved all the ends of the earth for I am God and
there is none else and the master Christ Jesus says in Matthew
11 28 through 30 Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy
laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn
of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest
unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden
is light. Friends, it is imperative that
you flee to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow, for none of us
are promised another day on this planet. Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ while He may be found, and seek Him while He
is near, only by being in Christ, the ark of our salvation. may we be delivered from the
fierce wrath of almighty God which is coming soon upon the
wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken
His sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around
the world to His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our
righteousness, Yehovah Sidkenu. Bless the name. Baruch Hashem,
Holy One of Israel. Hakadosh Yisrael. Hallelujah. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
which was and is and is to come. Great is our Lord Jesus Christ
and greatly to be praised. Take heart, friends. Our mighty
and glorious King of glory is inbound for his afflicted saints. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Maranatha
