The sermon "Storm Warning #95" primarily addresses the unique and redemptive death of Jesus Christ, outlining its theological significance in the context of Reformed doctrines such as substitutionary atonement and justifying grace. The speakers argue that Jesus' death was not only voluntary but also purposeful, fulfilling Old Testament prophecies and establishing a means of salvation for God's elect. Scripture references such as John 10:18, Isaiah 53:6, and Romans 3:23-26 are used to illustrate how Christ's death satisfied God's justice while demonstrating His grace and love. The practical significance lies in understanding that Christ alone, through His atoning sacrifice, secures eternal life for believers, emphasizing the necessity of a correct view of Christ for salvation in the Reformed tradition.

Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This
is Sinner Saved coming at you with the following short evangelistic
gospel message, which is sponsored by preacher Wayne Boyd and the
brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus at First Baptist Church
located in Almonte, Michigan, USA. And God willing, this broadcast
will reach you, Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope
and prayer unto God most high, the only holy father, that is
only begotten son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness. be
greatly exalted, that his everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed,
that the pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and
that his elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted
in these evil and perilous times. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy, and wretched sinners
by his sovereign free grace. That is to say, Almighty God,
in his unmerited favor, to save me and you from our sins and
from hell. What do you think of Christ? Part five. What think ye of Christ
is the test to try both your state and your scheme. You cannot
be right in the rest unless you think rightly of him. In parts
one through four, we discovered that no one was ever born like
Jesus. No one ever lived like Jesus. No one ever worked like Jesus
and no one ever dealt with sinners like Jesus. This time we'll consider
how no one ever died like Jesus. The Lord Jesus Christ voluntarily
dismissed his spirit. In John 10, 18, he claimed he
had power to lay down his life and power to take it up again.
And he did just that. When he had made atonement for
our sins, He cried out, it is finished and gave up the ghost. See Matthew 27 50. He died at
will. No one else ever died at will. You can't do it. Uh, and nor
can I, uh, wait a minute. You may say there have been people
who have been so downhearted that they just wanted to die
and, and they did die. Yes, that's true. And that process
took time. Maybe it took a day, maybe a
month, maybe a year. It took time to die. However,
When Jesus decided it was time to die, he simply bowed his head
and dismissed his spirit. Well, you say, what's so marvelous
about that? To which I respond, you try it.
Just where you are sitting, go ahead and die. Dismiss your spirit.
You can't do it. You can take your own life, but
that's not what we're talking about here. You can't instantly
die at will. Only Jesus was able to do that. Jesus was different from everyone
else. Also, when he died, he died on
purpose. He died with the purpose of redeeming
and rescuing a multitude that no one could number. See Revelation
7 verses 9 and 10. He died with the purpose of taking
the iniquities of his people. See Isaiah 53, 6. He died with
the purpose that we might live. His death tore away the barrier
between us and God. No one else's death ever attained
the same results. Nor could it! Consider the other
principal leaders in world religion, Confucius, Buddha, Mohammed.
They were simply men. They died as all other men die. However, their deaths did not
have any effect on anyone's eternal destiny. Christ was unique in
his death. What do you think of him? Moreover,
he didn't stay dead. After three days, he rose up
from the dead by his own power. See John 10, 18. It's as if he
said, I've been dead long enough. I'm out of here. None of the
world's religious leaders could do that. Their graves are with
us to this day. So in summary, no one was ever
born like Jesus, no one ever lived like Jesus, no one ever
worked like Jesus, no one ever dealt with sinners like Jesus,
and no one ever died like Jesus. What do you think of him? What
think ye of Christ is the test? To try both your state and your
scheme, you cannot be right in the rest unless you think rightly
of him. And that's the gospel truth. That was from preacher Myles
McKee. I read from Psalm 5 verses 7
through 8. But as for me, I will come into
thy house in the multitude of thy mercy, and in thy fear will
I worship toward thy holy temple. Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness
because of mine enemies. Make thy way straight before
my face. Grace and truth by Jesus Christ. John 117, for the law was given
to Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. And in
Romans 5, 21, grace reigns through righteousness unto eternal life
by Jesus Christ our Lord. The grace that saves the sinner
is not mere pity and sentiment, such as we find in the creature. The grace that saves sinners
is established on the principles of an honored law and a satisfied
justice. See Romans 3, verses 23 through
26. Grace does not ignore the law nor set aside its requirements. No! It establishes the law. See Romans 3 31. Grace establishes
the law because it has a substitute who perfectly fulfilled the law
and endured the death penalty for all who believe in order
that God may be both just and justifier. Law manifests what
is in men. Sin! Grace manifests what is
in God. Love! Love demands righteousness
from men. Grace brings righteousness to
men. Law sentences men to death. Grace
brings dead men to life. Law speaks of what I must do.
Grace tells what Christ has done. Law gives knowledge of sin. Grace
puts away sin. Outstanding message from old
timer preacher Henry Mahan. We have an advocate. Ye saints,
look up with cheerful eye. Behold your king who reigns on
high. See Jesus ruling from his throne, the advocate for all
his own. Be never filled with dark despair. On Jesus cast your every care,
for he is full of love and grace, his blood redeemed, his chosen
race. This is the one who for us died. His prayers will never be denied. Tis Christ with sympathizing
love who represents us high above. So come, dear brother, sister
too, and Christ find mercy just for you. Oh, rest in Him and
be at peace. His love for you will never cease. Believing Christ. It is written
that the Philippian jailer fell down before Paul and Silas and
said, sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house. And they spake unto him the word
of the Lord and to all that were in his house. Acts 16 verses
29 through 32. Hear the words of our Savior
to Nicodemus. For God so loved the world that
he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3.16. What does it mean to believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ? 1. To believe on Christ is to
realize the glory of his person. The one who died for our sins
is God manifest in the flesh. He is Emmanuel, God with us. He is not a God or one among
many gods. He is the everlasting Son of
God. Per his assignment in the covenant
of grace, he took into union with his deity, a real human
body and soul, so as to suffer and die for our sins. We therefore
read that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself,
2 Corinthians 5.19. To deny either the reality of
his deity or humanity is to rule out any possibility of salvation. Number two, to believe on Christ
is to trust the power of His blood to satisfy the demands
of justice, which required death for our sins. The Savior's blood
atoned for the guilt of His people. Though wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our
Lord. Romans 6, 23, the blood of the
Savior was shed to His people. His death in order to legally
purchase the people given to him in covenant mercy before
the foundation of the world To add anything to the blood of
the Savior is a deadly addition As it is written in Leviticus
17.11, it is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul. 3. To
believe on Christ is to rest in the merits of His imputed
righteousness. By His obedience in life and
death, the Son of Man obtained and established an everlasting
righteousness for the people in whose stead He lived and died.
the garment of God's salvation. It is that which is credited
to our account. The Savior is the Lord our righteousness,
as we read in Jeremiah 23 6. To add personal obedience or
righteousness to that of Christ's righteousness will result in
condemnation. I think I need to read that again,
friends. To add personal obedience or
righteousness to that of Christ's righteousness will result in
condemnation. Number four. To believe on Christ
is to bow to his sovereign rule. The Redeemer is the Lord, the
sovereign of the universe. Though already Lord, because
he is God, as the son of man who put away the sins of his
people and brought in everlasting righteousness for them, he merited
the right to be the Lord. All who come to him in faith
submit to his authority. They acknowledge his right to
save or damn, and in essence cry out, if thou wilt, Thou canst
make me clean, Matthew 8, 2. Rebels who refuse to surrender
to his authority cannot be saved. Number five, to believe on Christ
is to rely upon the power of his intercession. He is the only
mediator between God and man. He represents us before the Father
and deals with us on the behalf of God. He prays for us, and
this gives us confidence to approach his throne of grace. See Hebrews
4, 16. He is our advocate. John called
him Jesus Christ the righteous. 1 John 2, 1. That was from preacher
Jim Bird of 13th Street Baptist Church, located in Ashland, Kentucky,
USA. It is written in Isaiah 45, 22,
where our Lord Jesus Christ commands, look unto me and be saved all
the ends of the earth for I am God and there is none else. The
Master, Christ Jesus, says in Matthew 11, 28-30, Friends, it is imperative that
you flee to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow, for none of us
are promised another day on this planet. Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ while he may be found. and seek Him while He
is near. Only by being in Christ, the
ark of our salvation, may we be delivered from the fierce
wrath of Almighty God, which is coming soon upon the wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken
His sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around
the world to His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our
righteousness. Hallelujah, Lord Jesus Christ.
Yehovah Sidkenu. Bless the name. Baruch Hashem. Holy One of Israel. Hagadosh
Yisrael. Hallelujah. If you are a letter

which was and is and is to come. Great is our Lord Jesus Christ,
and greatly to be praised. Take heart, friends. Our mighty
and glorious King of Glory is inbound for His afflicted saints. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus
Christ, Maranatha,
