The sermon titled "Storm Warning #91" addresses the Reformed theological doctrine of justification by faith, emphasizing that sinners are justified solely through the righteousness of Christ. The preachers present key arguments about the absolute necessity of Christ's righteousness for salvation, citing Scriptures such as Jeremiah 23:6 and Romans 3:24 to underline that complete justification comes from God alone. They argue that any attempts at self-justification are futile and stress the importance of recognizing Christ as our righteousness, as illustrated in 1 Corinthians 1:30 and Philippians 3:9. The practical significance lies in the assurance that believers can find rest in Christ, who fulfills the perfect standard required by God, ultimately leading to a transformative relationship with Him and the promise of eternal life.

Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This
is Sinner Saved coming at you with the following short evangelistic
gospel message, which is sponsored by preacher Wayne Boyd and the
Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus at First Baptist Church
located in Almonte, Michigan, USA. And God willing, this broadcast
will reach you, Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope
and prayer unto God Most High, the only Holy Father, that His
only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness, be
greatly exalted, that His everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed,
that the pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and
that His elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted
in these evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find
enclosed encouragement in so great salvation by the perfect
and finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor,
needy, and wretched sinners by his sovereign free grace. That
is to say, Almighty God, in His unmerited favor, to save me and
you from our sins and from hell. Jeremiah 23, 6. This is His name
whereby He shall be called, the Lord our righteousness. Question,
by whose righteousness are sinners justified? Answer, by God's righteousness. And how much of God's righteousness
is required to justify sinners? All of it. Such is the value
of the sacrifice made on Calvary. If one could collect all the
righteousness of all the angels and all the saints and total
it together, it would be as nothing compared to the incomprehensible
and infinite righteousness which was poured out for the salvation
of guilty sinners. Such is the righteousness which
is unto all and upon all them that believe in Jesus. We who
know the gospel and its applications know that a perfect righteousness
is needed to grant us admission to heaven. We, moreover, know
that we cannot find this righteousness within ourselves. In addition,
we know that we cannot bring our righteousness to God for
we have none. We also know that God brings
his righteousness to us and justifies us freely by his grace through
the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. See Romans 3, 24. Because
of the gospel, we see the solution to our greatest problem. Although
we are sinners by nature and separated from God, the promise
is given that the Lord's people will be furnished and clothed
with the righteousness of God himself. Let's read Jeremiah
23, six again. The full verse says, in his days,
Judah shall be saved and Israel shall dwell safely. And this
is his name whereby he shall be called the Lord, our righteousness. Here it is clearly taught that
Yahweh, the Lord Jesus, is our righteousness. However, when
we come to the New Testament, we find it is Christ Jesus who
is presented to us as our righteousness. We are told, for example, in
1 Corinthians 1.30, but of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of
God is made unto us righteousness. Also philippians 3 9 says and
be found in him not having my own righteousness, which is of
the law But that which is through the faith of christ the righteousness
Which is of god by faith Is christ really our righteousness? If
so, that means he is our god if he is not the believer's righteousness
Then he is not god and we are lost Why lost without christ? We are lost because we need a
perfect righteousness to qualify us for heaven. But where are
we to find such a righteousness if not in Christ? According to
prophecy of Jeremiah 23 6, the eternal Lord is to be our righteousness. If Christ is not the eternal
Yahweh, then we remain lost. If Christ is not God manifest
in the flesh, the eternal Yahweh come to earth, then we have no
salvation. why we need a perfect righteousness. Christ taught that we are to
be as perfect as our Father in heaven. He says in Matthew 5,
48, be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father, which is
in heaven, is perfect. This teaching, left on its own,
condemns us and leaves us without hope. How could we possibly be
as perfect as God? Yet this is the standard God
requires. Without exception, it will be
of no use showing up in eternity trying to argue that when we
were on this earth, we were as perfect as God. No one will believe
us, especially God, for he knows all things. So where then can
we find this perfection? This perfection is found in Christ
alone. He is made unto us wisdom and
righteousness and sanctification and redemption. 1 Corinthians
1.30. In him is the perfection of God,
and by faith we receive this perfection as our own. Only Christ
is as perfect as God because Christ is God. No angel has the
wisdom of God, but Christ has it all. Again, Christ is not
God we have no gospel no good news and no hope And that's the
gospel truth from preacher Myles McKee The Lord Jesus Christ says
in Isaiah 45 and seen verses 21 through 24 friends Look unto
me and be saved all the ends of the earth for I am God and
there is none else. I Salvation is holy of grace, not only undeserved,
but undesired by us, until God is pleased to awaken us to a
sense of our need of it. And then we find everything prepared
that our wants require or our wishes conceive, yea, that he
has done exceedingly beyond what we could either ask or think. Salvation is holy of the Lord
and bears those signatures of infinite wisdom, power and goodness,
which distinguish all his works from the puny imitations of men. It is every way worthy of himself,
a great, a free, a full, a sure salvation. It is great whether
we consider the objects, miserable, hell-deserving sinners, the end,
the restoration of such alienated creatures to his image and favor
to immortal life and happiness, or the means, the incarnation,
humiliation, sufferings, and death of his beloved son, It
is free, without exception of persons or cases, without any
conditions or qualifications, but such as he himself performs
in them and bestows upon them." Outstanding preacher John Newton,
who wrote the old hymn, Amazing Grace, a long time ago. Christ
is to be answerable for all those that are given to him at the
last day, and therefore we need not doubt but that he will certainly
employ all the power of his Godhead to secure and save all those
that he must be accountable for. Christ's charge and care of these
that are given to him extends even to the very day of their
resurrection That he may not so much as lose their dust But
gather it together again and raise it up in glory to be a
proof of his fidelity for saith he in John 639 I shall lose nothing
but raise it up again at the last day That was from preacher
Thomas Brooks Philippians 1.6, being confident
of this very thing that he which began a good work in you will
perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. If God began a thing,
it was not begun in time. If it is realized in time, it
began with God in eternity. So the salvation, the grace that
these believers received began before the foundation of the
world. We know from the clear revelation of scripture that
the eternal aspects of grace are Christ's surety ship, election
unto salvation, predestination of conformity to Christ, calling,
justification, and glorification. Along with this is the eternal
mechanism of providence that ores all things to their appointed
end. I feel for those who think that
what they do or do not do somehow affects the outcome of history. It is He that has begun this
good work, and who can disannul or turn it back? The work is
called a good work. There is no doubt it is good
for the believer. However, the reason it is good
is because he is good. This has to do with his glory. See Exodus 33 verses 18 and 19. It is a good work because it
glorifies God in all his attributes. The report of it is called good
news or glad tidings. The only other work involved
anointing our Lord for his burial, a thing that honored the surety
of his death and the salvation of the elect. See Mark 14 verses
three through nine. Paul's confidence was that if
God had begun the work, he would also do the work, finish the
work, and receive all the glory for the work. Please see Ephesians
1, verses 3 through 6. The wonder and glory of this
truth is at the beginning, when God is the author, assures the
end. In fact, scripture declares that
the end was already set and sure. The beginning was merely the
historical opening line of an already complete story. See Isaiah
46, verses 9 through 12. Christ said in Revelation 22,
13, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the
first and the last. The day of Jesus Christ is a
twofold day of finishing. It refers first to the day of
his death, that finished salvation. Secondly, it refers to his second
coming where the final aspect of that finished salvation will
be realized. The gathering of the elect and
the utter destruction of the enemy. Paul is confident of this
very thing. That was from preacher Tim James
of Sequoia Sovereign Grace Baptist Church located in Cherokee, North
Carolina, USA. It is written. Isaiah 45 22 where
our Lord Jesus Christ commands look unto me and be saved all
the ends of the earth For I am God and there is none else and
the master says in Matthew 11 28 through 30 Come unto me all
you that labor in our heavy laden and I will give you rest take
my yoke upon you and learn of me and For I am meek and lowly
in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke
is easy, and my burden is light. Friends, it is imperative that
you flee to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow, for none of us
are promised another day on this earth. Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ while he may be found, and seek him while he
is near. Only by being in Christ Jesus,
the ark of our salvation, may we be delivered from the fierce
wrath of almighty God, which is coming soon upon the wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust almighty God will awaken
his sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around
the world to his only begotten son, Christ Jesus, the Lord,
our righteousness. Yehovah Tzidkenu. Bless the name. Baruch Hashem. Holy one of Israel. Hakadosh
Yisrael. Hallelujah. If you're a letter
