The sermon "Storm Warning #32" focuses on the doctrine of salvation through the sovereign grace of God, specifically emphasizing Jesus Christ as the sole mediator and redeemer for sinners. The speakers articulate that justification before God is achieved solely through Christ’s finished work, rather than any personal merit from individuals, referencing key Scriptures such as Romans 3:20 and Galatians 3:10 to underscore that the law cannot justify but rather condemns. The sermon further explores the names and roles of Christ in the Old Testament, illustrating His preexistence and promise as the Savior, citing Genesis 3:15 and Isaiah 9:6, thus affirming the continuity of God's redemptive plan throughout Scripture. This message holds significant implications for Reformed theology, as it reaffirms the doctrines of total depravity, unconditional election, and the assurance that salvation is entirely a work of grace that brings comfort to believers amidst trials.

Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. This is Sinner Saved coming at
you with the following short evangelistic gospel message,
which is sponsored by preacher Wayne Boyd and the Brethren in
Christ at First Baptist Church located in Almonte, Michigan,
USA. And God willing, this broadcast
will reach you, Lima, Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope
and prayer unto God Most High, the only Holy Father, that His
only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord Our Righteousness, be
greatly exalted, that His everlasting Gospel be clearly proclaimed,
that the pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and
that His elect saints be greatly encouraged and comforted in these
evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow, for all hands, HEADS UP! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy, and wretched sinners
by his sovereign free grace. That is to say, Almighty God
in his unmerited favor to save me and you from our sins and
from hell. God the Father contrived the
scheme and method of justification. It would have been a puzzling
question to angels and men had not He resolved it. How should
man, sinful man, be just with God? But God, in His infinite
wisdom, found a ransom, a ransomer, a redeemer of His people to bring
in everlasting righteousness for them, and thereby acquit
and discharge them and deliver them from going down to the pit
of ruin and destruction. God was in Christ reconciling
the world to himself. God was with him forming the
scheme of their peace and reconciliation, of their redemption, justification,
and salvation, not imputing their trespasses but the righteousness
of his son to them. Please, friends, see Job 9, 2,
Job 33, 24, 2 Corinthians 5, 19. And that hard-hitting message
was from an old-time preacher, John Gill. The revelation of
his name. A man once asked, how could Old
Testament believers be saved when they did not know the name
of Jesus? The answer is simple, they did
know the name of Jesus! First, they knew him by many
names, as he was revealed to them by the Holy Spirit in the
message of the Gospel. His name was and is the Lord
of Glory! See Genesis 2, 4, Exodus 15,
3. The Lord of Glory, I'll repeat
it, which is His covenant name as the God of all grace who saves
His people through the blood and righteousness of His Son
whom He promised in the Old Testament to send into the world. He was
known by many. many compound names that identified
and distinguished him as the savior of his people. His name
was the seed of woman, Genesis 3.15. The lamb of the Passover,
Exodus chapter 12 and John 1.29. He who is the lamb of God, his
name itself, Jesus, Yeshua, means savior and salvation. In fact,
there are so many glorious names of our dear Lord and Savior in
the Old Testament that we cannot list them all here now. But the
prophet Isaiah listed a few from Isaiah 9, 6. And his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father,
the Prince of Peace, the mighty God, El Gebor, and the Prince
of Peace, Sar Shalom. Baruch Hashem bless his name
the prophet Jeremiah spoke of him as the Lord our righteousness
Yehovah said Kenya Friends, please see Jeremiah 23 5 through 6 and
also Jeremiah 30 33 15 through 16 Daniel spoke of him as Messiah
the Prince Daniel 925 who would come and to finish the transgression,
and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity,
and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and
prophecy, and to anoint the most holy." That was Daniel 9, 24. It is written that Abraham of
old, built an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name
of the Lord. Genesis 12 8 the Lord himself
the Lord Jesus himself said your father Abraham Rejoiced to see
my day and he saw it and was glad John 8 56 praise God There's
always has been and always will be the revelation of his glorious
name to his chosen and redeemed people I will declare thy name
unto my brethren In the midst of the congregation will I praise
thee. Please see Psalm 2222. And that message, a wonderful
message was from preacher Bill Parker of Eager Avenue Grace
Church. And I think that's located in
Albany, Georgia, USA. Come, sing of sovereign grace,
ye people of the Lord. Proclaim Jehovah's matchless
grace. Join in with one accord. Christ gave himself to die. Behold
redeeming grace. The Substitute laid down his
life to save his chosen race. The Spirit to us came when we
in sin were dead. Poured quickening grace into
the souls of these for whom Christ bled. that grace which saves
from sin instruct us on our way, and grace will keep us ever safe,
nor let us go astray. A vessel of his grace by covenant
design, by grace the Savior calls me his, by grace I call him mine. The good news of His grace should
calm each doubt and fear. God saves us by His grace alone. Sweet message to the ear. That was written by preacher
Jim Bird of 13th Street Baptist Church located in Ashland, Kentucky,
USA. These men and women whom God
has been pleased to choose from all eternity, He calls in time,
by His Spirit working in due season. He convinces them of
sin. He leads them to Christ. He works
in them repentance and faith. He converts, renews, and sanctifies
them. He keeps them, by His grace,
from falling away entirely. and finally brings them safe
to glory. In short, God's eternal election
is the first link in that chain of a sinner's salvation, of which
heavenly glory is the end. None ever repent, believe, and
are born again except the elect. The primary and original cause
of a saint's being, what he is, is eternal God's election. Allow me to summarize what I
believe to be the very essence of the spiritual life of a child
of God in two statements. All confidence for salvation,
forgiveness, righteousness, and acceptance. with a holy God is
in Christ and Him crucified. He has no confidence in self. That was from preacher Jim Bird. In all spiritual things, all
your temptations, all your darkness, all your wanderings, God will
overrule. It shall be well with you. There
shall never be a night but that morning shall come. There shall
never be a day of trouble, but a day of prosperity shall follow. There shall never be an emptying,
but there shall be a filling. There shall never be a bringing
down, but that he will raise you up again. Let it be either
darkness or light, sorrow or grief, Night or day, life or
death, time or eternity, it shall be well with the righteous. That was from preacher Scott
Richardson, who's with the master in paradise today. Law or gospel is the question. The word of God is crystal clear,
Romans 3.20. By the deeds of the law, there
shall no flesh be justified in God's sight. The law was not
a way of salvation. It was a ministration of condemnation
and death. 2 Corinthians 3, 7 and verse
9. Nevertheless, the natural man,
ever thinking that the salvation of his soul is dependent upon
something he must do, endeavors, or at least some degree, to keep
the law of God. What does that law require? It
demands and will settle for nothing less than perfection, absolute
obedience, within and without, to all of the law, and this obedience
has to be lifelong, that is to say, Galatians 3.10. The gospel, however,
announces the good news that God, in mercy, looks to the Savior,
the shepherd of the sheep, for everything the law requires.
The law wants perfect obedience which was satisfied by our God-appointed
and God-approved Savior and substitute. Matthew 12.18, this is the Holy
Father speaking. This is my beloved Son, in whom
I am well pleased. The law is not merely satisfied
with continual obedience to its precepts, it demands death for
all transgressions and violations. The wages of sin is death. Romans 6.23. Thankfully, that which the law
demanded, death for sin, the gospel has ABUNDANTLY supplied! Christ died for our sins according
to the scripture. First Corinthians 15, three. A reading from Galatians 3, 13. Christ hath redeemed us from
the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, for it is written,
cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree. The law demands righteousness
and holiness. It will settle for nothing less.
The gospel has supplied both for the people of God through
the person and work of Christ. But of him," meaning God the
Father, "'are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom
and righteousness and sanctification," meaning holiness, "'and redemption.'"
And please see 1 Corinthians 1.30. In summary, friends, the
law demands everything from us, but provides and supplies nothing
to enable us to fulfill its demands. On the other hand, and stand
by for the good news, the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ demands
nothing from us, but provides and supplies everything the law
requires through the glorious Savior and his perfect life and
sacrificial work upon the cross in the stead of his people. Wow. Praise God. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank
you, Holy Father. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thrice
holy, thou art one. A reading from Revelation 15,
4. Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? For Thou
only art holy. All nations shall come and worship
before Thee, for Thy judgments are made manifest. It is written
in Isaiah 45, 22 where our Lord Jesus Christ commands Look unto
me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God,
and there is none else. And the Master, our Lord Jesus
Christ, also says in Matthew 11, 28 through 30, Come unto
me, all ye that labor, and are heavy laden, and I will give
you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek
and lowly in heart. For ye shall find rest unto your
souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden
is light." Friends, it is imperative that you flee to Christ Jesus
today, not tomorrow, for none of us are promised another day
on this planet. Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
while he may be found, and seek him while he is near. Only by
being in Christ, the ark of our salvation, may we be delivered
from the fierce wrath of Almighty God, which is coming soon upon
the wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken
His sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children from
around the world to His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the
Lord our righteousness, Yehovah Sidkenu. Bless His name. Baruch Hashem. If you are a member
