Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This
is Sinner Saved coming at you with the following short evangelistic
gospel message, and God willing, this broadcast will reach you,
Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope and prayer unto
God Most High, the only Holy Father, that is only begotten
Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness. be greatly exalted,
that his everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed, that the
pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and that his
elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted in these
evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy, and wretched sinners
by His sovereign free grace. That is to say, Almighty God
and His unmerited favor to save me and you from our sins and
from hell. We gather this day to honor the
king who sits on his throne, his triumphs we sing. The savior
who died to atone for our sin, who came forth from the tomb
and he liveth again. Christ Jesus, the Lord, the victory
has won. He died and arose. The work is
all done. He took on himself all our debt
to repay. The sins of his people are all
washed away. To Jesus, our Lord, all honor
we bring. We say unto death, where's now
thy sting? Enthroned in his glory, almighty
to save, how great is his conquest over sin and the grave. He conquered the grave and liveth
above. All praise to his name, all power
and love. Made righteous in Jesus, we someday
shall rise to dwell with our Savior above earth and skies. Jesus, our redemption and ransom. We are not redeemed because we
felt or experienced something. No, indeed, we are redeemed because
the Lord Jesus bought and paid for us with his own blood some
2,000 years ago. We are his purchased possession. He owns us. We have been bought
with the price of his blood. See 1 Corinthians 6.20. Is it
any wonder then that sister Fanny Crosby penned the lovely hymn,
redeemed how I love to proclaim it, redeemed by the blood of
the lamb, redeemed by his infinite mercy, his child and forever
I am, redeemed, redeemed, redeemed by the blood of the lamb, redeemed,
redeemed, his child and forever I am. Romans 3.24 states, we
are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is
in Christ Jesus. Notice this scripture informs
us that our redemption is in Christ Jesus. In addition, Mark
10.45 and 1 Timothy 2.6 tell us that Jesus is not only
our redemption, but also our ransom. Jesus didn't just come
merely to pay the ransom, he came to be our ransom. Jesus
is both our redemption and ransom. See Ephesians 1.7, 1 Corinthians
1.30, Mark 10.45, and 1 Timothy 2.6. These are potent truths
which tell us that we already have redemption, not because
we have experienced something, but because we have a Redeemer
who gave himself for us. Our redemption is objectively
found in Christ. Christ became our Redeemer in
actual ransom when He sacrificed Himself, took our sins, and paid
for us with His own blood. We could not bring our righteousness
to God, for we have had none to bring. God, however, brought
his righteousness to us and justifies us freely by his grace through
the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Let's say it again. He, the Lord Jesus, is both our
ransom and our redemption. Because of this, we do not depend.
upon what we have done or upon what we feel for salvation, indeed
the weakest believer can look to the cross and by faith see
that their redemption has been accomplished and secured. Since
their redemption is secure and the ransom paid, they are safe.
We as God's people can, therefore, cease from the never-ending carnal
and foolish efforts to establish our own righteousness before
God. Christ Jesus is now appearing
before the throne as our mediator who purchased his people with
his own blood. Please see Hebrews 9.15, also
Hebrews 12.24, 1 Timothy 2.5, Hebrews 8.6. We are safe. Adolf Saphir, in his usual wisdom,
reminds us concerning Christ, God has only one purpose, to
manifest himself, to show forth his glory, to reveal his perfections,
and to show them forth in his only begotten and well-beloved
son, and in him as in Jesus Christ crucified. The lamb was slain,
the apostle Peter tells us, before the foundation of the world.
Redemption is no afterthought in God. It is His first thought. And according to the land that
was slain, all things were made. He is the center of creation. He is the center of history. He is the center of redemption. He is the center of glory. Christ was the alpha and the
mind of God, as well as the omega. And that's the gospel truth. That was from preacher Miles
McKee. The Bible is not only a great book, it is the greatest
of all books. Its greatness is not necessarily
found in its fulfilled prophecies, its historical accuracy, its
accounts of God's mighty acts, or its guidelines for living.
These are indeed fascinating aspects of the Bible. Each add
its own evidence of authenticity to the big picture of the Bible
as a whole. The Bible's greatest wonder is
its revelation of Jesus Christ himself along with the work of
redemption he has accomplished to save his people from sin and
provide all things necessary to bring them to eternal life
and glory. The truly remarkable facet of
the Bible is that Christ crucified and risen as the righteousness
of God for His people can be seen in each and every book,
Old Testament as well as the New Testament. Every book, every
chapter, every line holds a picture of Jesus Christ, the Savior of
sinners. That was copied, I do not know
who wrote that. our assurance of resurrection. All true believers have assurance
of resurrection from the dead and eternal life in glory with
Christ. What is that assurance? It is
the word of God that says, but now is Christ risen from the
dead and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since
by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the
dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be
made alive. 1 Corinthians 15 verses 20 through
22. As the Lord Jesus Christ has
taken our sins to the cross and died in our place, fully satisfying
the justice of God as our surety, substitute, and redeemer, and
as he is risen again because of our justification. He is the
assurance of every person for whom he died and arose from the
dead. Christ himself said, and this
is the father's will, which hath sent me, that of all which he
hath given me, I should lose nothing, but should raise it
up again at the last day. John 6, 39. We who believe in
Christ also have the assurance of the Holy Spirit, who is the
earnest of our inheritance. Or another way to put it is the
Holy Spirit is the pledge or guarantor of our inheritance
until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of
His glory. Ephesians 1, 14. In fact, the power of God that
quickened us and made us to live spiritually is, in the scriptures,
compared with the power which raised Christ himself from the
dead. See Ephesians 1 verses 19 and
20. Christ died for our sins and
was raised for our justification. We live because He lives, and
we are free from sin because our surety who bore our sins
is now free from them. He quickened and brought us to
see and believe in Christ for our whole salvation. Christ also
said, and this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone
which seeth the Son and believeth on him may have everlasting life,
and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6, 40. As our sins imputed to him brought
him to die, his righteousness imputed to us brought us to live
eternally. Again, Christ is the assurance
of our resurrection. Good message from preacher Bill
Parker of Eager Avenue Grace Church located in Albany, Georgia,
USA. A sweet savor of Christ. The
gospel of Jesus Christ is no uncertain message. The gospel
of Christ declares that he, that is Christ Jesus, came into this
world to save his people from their sins, and that he has accomplished
that end. The messenger, an angel from
heaven, said to Joseph, call his name Jesus, for he shall
save his people from their sins. Please see Matthew 1, verses
18 through 25. Our Lord Jesus said, All that
the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to
me I will in no wise cast out. John 6.37 God the Father gave
his chosen people unto his only begotten Son as his portion,
his spouse, and his children. As saith the preacher, a garden
enclosed is my sister, my spouse, a spring shut up, a fountain
sealed. Song of Solomon 4.12. And the
spouse saith concerning her husband, my beloved has gone down into
his garden to the beds of spices to feed in the gardens. and to
gather lilies. I am my Beloved's, and my Beloved
is mine. He feedeth among the lilies. Song of Solomon chapter 6 verses
2 through 3 God in the Trinity of His most sacred persons is
refreshed by beholding the comeliness of the bride of the Lamb which
He hath put upon her. As it is written, And thy renown
went forth among the heathen for thy beauty, for it was perfect
through my comeliness which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord
God. Ezekiel 16, 14. The derived beauty and grace
of the Lamb's wife, see Revelation 21.9, is such that the Lamb is
glorified in her, as it is written, And all mine are thine, and thine
are mine, and I am glorified in them, said the Lord Jesus
in John 17.10. And that message was from preacher
Alan Eisen. It is written in Isaiah 45 22
where our Lord Jesus Christ commands Look unto me and be saved all
the ends of the earth for I am God and there is none else And
the master also says in Matthew 11 Come unto me all you that
labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest Take my
yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart
and you shall find rest unto your souls for my My yoke is
easy and my burden is light. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
which was and is and is to come. Great is our Lord Jesus Christ
and greatly to be praised. Take heart, friends. Our mighty
and glorious King of glory is inbound for his afflicted saints. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Maranatha!
