Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This
is Sinner Saved coming at you with the following short evangelistic
gospel message, and God willing, this broadcast will reach you,
Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope and prayer unto
God Most High, the only Holy Father, that is only begotten
Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness. be greatly exalted,
that his everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed, that the
pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and that his
elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted in these
evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy, and wretched sinners
by His sovereign free grace. That is to say, Almighty God
and His unmerited favor to save me and you from our sins and
from hell. Omnipotence ascribed unto Jesus. He conquered the grave and now
lives above. All praise to his name, all power
and love. Made righteous in Jesus, we someday
shall rise to dwell with our Savior above earth and skies. For Christ to be termed as omnipotent
means he is all-powerful. A reading from Revelation 5-6,
And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and the four
beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a lamb, as it had
been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the
seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Note the
number seven in this verse. As you know, seven is the number
of divine perfection. Notice how this divine perfection
is the possession of the Lamb. Observe how the Lamb had seven
horns. The horn was a symbol of authority
and strength. And being that there are seven
horns, we are being pointed to the perfect power and omnipotence
of the Lord Jesus. Christ is omnipotent and is,
therefore, God. Only he who is omnipotent can
employ omnipotence. Here in Revelation chapter 5,
Jesus appears as the divine champion, the only one found in the entire
universe worthy and able to open the seven-sealed book. He is
the Lion and the Lamb, the Crucified One, the King, and the Omnipotent
One. This omnipotence comes as no
surprise, because if Christ had not been omnipotent, He could
not have created the universe. See John 1, 3. Indeed, while
He was on earth, He continued to demonstrate His omnipotence
by taking authority over Death, demons, sickness, storms at sea
and storms in the human condition. Moreover, after his ascension
into heaven, He unrelentingly demonstrated His omnipotence
through the ministry of His disciples. After a miraculous healing, Peter
was quick to say, And His name, through faith in His name, made
this man strong, whom ye see and know. Yea, the faith which
is by Him hath given Him this perfect soundness in the presence
of you all. See Acts 3.16. In Revelation 3, 7, we see a
further declaration of Christ's omnipotence. We read, And to
the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, These things saith he
that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David,
he that opens and no man shuts, and shuts and no man opens. To have the key to both open
and shut is the role of one having both power and authority. Jesus
has full administrative authority over everything pertaining to
God. He can distribute or not distribute
God's resources according to His will. He is omnipotent. This truth is a wonderful comfort
for his followers, those who have entrusted the keeping of
their souls unto him. Say not, my soul, from whence
can God relieve my care? Remember that omnipotence has
servants everywhere. God's help is always sure. His
method seldom guessed. Delay will make our pleasures
pure. Surprise will give it zest. His
wisdom is sublime, his heart profoundly kind. God never is
before his time and never is behind. And that's the gospel
truth till he comes. Good message from preacher Miles
McKee. A reading from Romans 8.10. And
if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the
spirit is life because of righteousness. Christ's righteousness imputed
is not only the ground of our justification before God, it
is the source and power of our regeneration and conversion,
meaning the new birth. By the Holy Spirit, Christ resides
within his people by his spirit and his word. And this is only
possible because they are justified legally before God by his grace. Through righteousness unto eternal
life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5.21. This is how the
justified live by faith. Romans 1.17. That is, looking
to, trusting in, and depending upon Christ, the author and finisher
of our faith. See Hebrews 12.2. Excellent. Another good message from preacher
Bill Parker. Assurance of salvation. How can
we who are sinners have any assurance of salvation? Is by looking to
and trusting in our sinless Savior and Lord, who stood in our place
and gave himself a ransom, dying on the cross for all whom the
Father had given him in covenant grace before the world began.
To look elsewhere and find assurance is nothing more than self-righteousness. That was from an unknown preacher
of righteousness. I'm reading from Psalm 35 verse
27 and 28. Let them shout for joy and be
glad that favor my righteousness. my righteous cause, excuse me.
Yea, let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which
hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. And my tongue
shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day
long. Five reasons for a sinner to
hope for mercy. Number one, his nature is to
show mercy. God is love. He must be merciful
to some because as he is holy, he is love. 1 John 4, 16. Number two, his desire is to
show mercy. He delights to show mercy. Micah 7, 18. Number three, his
glory is to show mercy. When Moses asked to see his glory,
he said, I will be merciful. Exodus 33 see verses 18 and 19 Number four, his name is the
mercy giver. Jesus means savior, deliverer,
or he will save. See Matthew 1.21. Number five,
his call is to mercy. Come and I will give you rest,
says the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 11.28. That was from
preacher Henry Mahan. Sovereign grace or sin abounding,
Ransomed souls the tidings swell, Tis a deep that knows no sounding,
Who its breadth or length can tell, On its glories, on its
glories, Let my soul forever dwell. What from Christ my soul
can sever, bound by everlasting bands? Once in Him and Him forever,
thus the eternal covenant stands. None shall pluck me, none shall
pluck me from the strength of Israel's hands, heir of God,
joint heirs with Jesus. Long ere time its race begun,
To his name eternal praise, O what wonders love hath done! One with
Jesus, one with Jesus, By eternal union one! On such love my soul
still ponder, Love so great, so rich, so free! say whilst
lost in holy wonder why oh lord such love to me hallelujah hallelujah
grace shall reign eternally that was from the old hymn come and
welcome It is written in Isaiah 45, 22,
where our Lord Jesus Christ commands, look unto me and be ye saved,
all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else. And the master says in Matthew
11, 28 through 30, come unto me, all ye that labor and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you
and learn of me. For I am meek and lowly in heart,
and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and
my burden is light." Friends, it is imperative that you flee
to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow, for none of us are promised another
day on this planet. Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ while he may be found, and seek him while he
is near, only by being in Christ the ark of our salvation. May we be delivered from the
fierce wrath of Almighty God, which is coming soon upon the
wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken
his sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around
the world to his only begotten son, Christ Jesus, the Lord,
our righteousness. Yehovah Sidkenu. Bless the name. Baruch Hashem, Holy One of Israel. Hakadosh Yisrael. Hallelujah. If you are led of the Lord to
