Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This
is Sinner Saved coming at you with the following short evangelistic
gospel message, and God willing, this broadcast will reach you,
Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope and prayer unto
God most high, the only Holy Father, that His only begotten
Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness, be greatly exalted,
that His everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed, that the
pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and that His
elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted in these
evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy, and wretched sinners
by his sovereign free grace. That is to say, almighty God
in his unmerited favor to save me and you from our sins and
from hell. The Lord Jesus Christ said in
John 3, 6, that which is born of the flesh is flesh. To learn
the total corruption and desperate wickedness of human nature is
a hard lesson to flesh and blood. To have no confidence in the
flesh, to consider ourselves upon a level with the very worst
and vilest of sinners, yea, with the very devils and point of
hope of salvation in ourselves is mortifying to our natural
pride and contrary to our carnal reason. as it's written in Isaiah
23, 9, but the Lord of hosts hath purposed it to stain the
pride of all glory and to bring into contempt all the honorable
of the earth. He hath effectually done this
by appearing in our nature and by the doctrines which he taught.
All flesh has become so totally corrupt and abominable in the
sight of God, so hopeless and helpless that nothing but the
coming of the Son of God could bring salvation to us. He became
the Son of Man and He might seek and save them that are lost.
He seeks us before we seek Him. He saves us before we look for
salvation from Him. He comes to us by His Word and
Spirit and says, that which is born of the flesh is flesh. The
flesh profiteth nothing to salvation. They that are in the flesh cannot
please God. There is no good thing in the
flesh. Therefore, no good thing can proceed from it. No man,
unless born again out of a corrupt nature, born again of the Spirit,
can see the kingdom of God. O soul, consider, in order to
raise love and gratitude, first, that salvation is a work quite
out of nature, that the flesh has not the least hand in it,
nor contributes the least might towards it. Nay, it is totally
averse to salvation by the blood and righteousness of the Son
of God. Secondly, that the Son of God did not come into the
world to purchase grace and then put it into the hands of nature
to make our flesh holy, righteous, and good, as some foolishly talk,
so that so we might be saved. But He saves us out of nature. He gives us a new birth into
Himself. By His Spirit, He leaves the
flesh as He found it, vile and sinful, no good thing in it. that he might be mortified by
the Spirit, yea, crucified as accursed and devoted to death
and destruction because of the sin which dwelleth in it. Third,
art thou born again of the Spirit, so as to believe in Christ for
salvation? Beware of having the least confidence
in the flesh. Aim not to make any show in the
flesh. This ministers to the pride and
righteousness of the flesh. Know thy flesh with its corruptions
and lusts as an enemy to thy Savior and to the peace and holiness
of thy soul. Treat it as such. Keep it low
daily. Lastly, see all thy righteousness
and perfection in the Son of God. Glory only in Him and of
Him. Look on thyself, though ever
so vile, yet shining more gloriously in the sight of God in the glorious
robe and glittering garments of Him who is the Lord our righteousness. Outstanding message from old
time preacher William Mason. Who is he? Who is Christ? There's a grand old hymn which
in reference to the Lord Jesus asked the question, who is he?
Let's ask and answer a little about that question. Who is he? He's the one at whose birth the
sky was filled with singing angels, Luke 2.13. Who is he? He's the one at whose infant
feet wise men bowed in adoration and worship, Matthew 2.11. Who
is he? He's the one who, when seen,
caused John the Baptist to proclaim, behold, the Lamb of God, which
takes away the sin of the world, John 1.29. Who is he? He's the one at whose baptism
the heavens were opened, and on whom the Spirit of God descended
in the form of a dove. Matthew 3, 16. Who is he? He's the one at whose word the
storm became still, and there was a great calm. Mark 4, 39. Who is he? He's the one that
healed the sick with a word. He said to the man with a withered
hand, stretch forth your hand, and it was completely restored.
Luke 5, 12 through 13. Luke 6, 6 through 10. Who is he? He's the one who raised
the daughter of Jairus, healed the centurion's servant, restored
to life the son of the widow of Nain, cast out a legion of
devils, gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, and speech
to the dumb. Luke chapter 7 and 8. Who is he? He's the one who fed
at one time 5,000 and at another time 4,000 men from a few loaves
of bread and a few fishes, which you can find in Matthew chapter
14 and Matthew 15. Who is he? He's the one who raised
Lazarus, the man who had been dead for four days, John 11,
43. Who is he? He's the one at whose
trial no genuine crimes can be charged against him. Pilate declared
him to be innocent, for he found no fault in him. See Matthew
chapter 27 and also Luke 23, 41. Who is he? He's the one at
whose crucifixion the sun refused to shine. Matthew 27, 45. Who is he? He's the one who on
the third day burst the bars of the tomb and was seen alive.
by many. John 20 verses 19 and 20, who
is he? He's the one who after appearing
among his disciples for the space of 40 days and speaking the things
concerning the kingdom of God, led them out as far as Bethany
and having blessed them with uplifted hands ascended into
heaven. Luke 24 verses 50 and 51. Who is he? He's the one whom
the martyr Stephen saw when he was murdered, Acts 7.55. Who is he? He's the one of whom
the scripture says, And the dead in Christ shall
rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught
up together with them in the clouds To meet the lord in the
air and so shall we ever be with the lord first thessalonians
4 verses 16 and 17 Who is he? He's the one of whom john says
the kings of the earth and the great men and the rich men and
the chief Captains and the mighty men and every bondsman and every
free man hid themselves in the dens And the rocks of the mountains
and said to the mountains and rocks Fall on us and hide us
from the face of him that sitteth on the throne and from the wrath
of the lamb For the great day of his wrath is come and who
shall be able to stand revelation 6 verses 15 through 17 Who is
he? He's the one of whom we sing.
Tis the Lord, O wondrous story. Tis the Lord, the King of glory. At his feet we humbly fall. Crown him, crown him Lord of
all. And that's the gospel truth till
he comes. Good message from preacher Miles
McKee. Our Father, guide your children's feet. Savior, protect
your wandering sheep. Protect your ransomed, blood-bought
flock. Be to our souls a sheltering rock. Protect us from a world
of sin, from foes without and worse within. Protect us from
the fiends of hell, and most, protect us from ourselves. Break
all our pride and vain conceit. Lord, lay us low before your
feet. Make us our wretched vileness know. Humble our hearts and lay
us low. Here we began here. We must stay
if we would walk the narrow way sinners by nature all undone
Our only hope is in god's son But what a blessed hope this
is christ is the lord our righteousness washed in his sin atoning blood.
We stand perfect before our god Outstanding Praise you, God Almighty. The
Holy Spirit does not reach after something novel, new, nor spectacular
in order to glorify Christ or to preach Christ to men. He does
not need tongues, fleshly emotion, bodily healings, and creature
fame and importance in order to bring glory to Christ and
call out his sheep. He finds Christ's glory in Christ
himself. If we want to honor Christ, glorify
Christ, and preach Christ, we must not look for something outside
of Christ, but we must honor him by preaching that which is
his already. His deity, his person, his manhood,
his life, his death, his resurrection, his ascension, his intercession,
his return. That was from preacher Henry
Mahan. Free will versus free grace. Friends, sit up straight and
pay attention, please. This is life and death. Free
will versus free grace. The free will doctrine teaches
that the success of the Father's eternal election of someone to
salvation, the triumph of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and
the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit are all dependent
upon the will of the sinner. Such teaching is contrary to
Scripture and repulsive to those who have been given an understanding
of the gospel of free grace. Hear the word of the Lord. Jonah
2.9, salvation is of the Lord. The purpose of the Father to
save a chosen multitude cannot be frustrated. The redemptive
work of Jesus Christ, by which He satisfied divine justice,
finished transgression, put away the sins of His people, made
reconciliation for iniquity, and brought in everlasting Righteousness
shall never be a failure the quickening power of the Holy
Spirit cannot be thwarted or resisted He will regenerate dead
sinners grant them repentance from dead works and faith in
the Lord Jesus Christ Make no mistake about it any message
associated with free will ism is a false gospel it is set in
opposition to the truth of Almighty God in the glory of him and Augustus
to play was exactly right. when he said, the friends of
free will are the enemies of free grace. Free willism essentially
makes man his own savior because it takes the honor of salvation
away from the Lord and gives it to the sinner. It makes salvation
to be dependent upon, not the sovereign will and purpose of
God, but upon the will of the creature. Free willism is nothing
more than idolatry. It is the worship of man's will
and the exaltation of the sinner over the Lord. That was from
preacher Jim Bird. It is written in Isaiah 45, 22
where our Lord Jesus Christ commands, look unto me and be ye saved,
all the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else.
And the master, Christ Jesus says in Matthew 11, come unto
me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give
you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek
and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For
my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Friends, it is imperative
that you flee to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow, for none
of us are promised another day on this planet. Today is the
day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ while he may be found, and seek him while he
is near, only by being in Christ, the ark of our salvation. May
we be delivered from the fierce wrath of almighty God, which
is coming soon upon the wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust almighty God will awaken
his sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around
the world to his only begotten son, Christ Jesus, the Lord,
our righteousness. Bless you, Lord God. If any dear
