Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His love and kindness, his tender
mercies and compassions are new every morning. Great is his faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This
is Sinner Saved coming at you with the following short evangelistic
gospel message, which is sponsored by preacher Wayne Boyd and the
Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus at First Baptist Church,
located in Alamont, Michigan, USA, and God willing, this broadcast
will reach you, Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope
and prayer unto God most high, the only holy father, that his
only begotten son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness, be
greatly exalted, that his everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed,
that the pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and
that his elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted
in these evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find enclosed encouragement
in so great salvation by the perfect and finished work of
our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor, needy, and wretched sinners
by his sovereign free grace. That is to say, Almighty God
in his unmerited favor to save me and you from our sins and
from hell. It is written in John 1 17. The
law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. It is natural to us all to say
of the moral law as the king of Israel said of that faithful
prophet of the Lord, Micah, I hate him for he doth not prophesied
good concerning me, but evil. First Kings 22 eight. It is true
that the holy spiritual law of God can yield no comfort, hope
or peace. to any poor sinner of mankind. Yet, the believer in Jesus cannot
hate the moral law. It is a transcript of his father's
mind and will. It is God's good gift. It answers
very valuable ends and purposes to the souls of his children.
We know sin by the law, as we know Christ by the gospel. Though
the law was given by Moses, a meek prophet, yet it is full of fiery
wrath, ministers, condemnation, and denounces curses. Yea, eternal
death and damnation to every transgressor. Yet why, O soul,
shouldst thou hate the law? That is not the cause of all
these evils, but thy sins, thy violations of its holy, just,
and righteous precepts. Here fix thy hatred. Here it
is just. Believer, the law is thy friend. It shoes thee thy duty. It cuts
thee off from all legal hopes. It raises every false foundation,
every expectation from thy own righteousness. The trumpet sounds
its alarm louder and louder. The voice of words is shriller
and shriller, and it will ever be terrible in its sound to thy
conscience, except thou art under the grace and truth which came
by Jesus Christ. Hear, O behold, and admire the
transcendent excellence of Jesus, full of grace and truth. Grace,
even the free favor of God to sinners came by Jesus Christ.
Truth, and every accomplishment of the ceremonial and perfect
fulfillment of every righteous demand which the moral law could
exact. Here is thy wisdom to oppose
the life and death of Jesus to every righteous demand, to every
terrible threatening, and every dreadful curse of the law. As
he is thy husband, all debts, dues, and demands he Forever
satisfied Jesus came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it Matthew
5 17 says a certain brother Jesus is the author of our faith and
the former of our graces in his unpolluted life We see the path
in his meritorious death the price and in his triumphant resurrection
the proof of bliss and immortality if we offend and fall seven times
a day He is the Lord our peace If we are depraved and our best
deeds unworthy, He is the Lord our righteousness. If we are
brutish in heavenly knowledge, He is the Lord our wisdom. His
word dispels the shades. His spirit scatters the intellectual
gloom. His eye looks our darkness in
today. In short, we are nothing and
Christ is all. Worse than defective in ourselves,
we are complete in Him. We act by strength and glory
in a righteousness, not our own. Outstanding message from old
timer preacher, William Mason. motivated by love. I defy anyone
to find a solitary text of scripture in the New Testament that uses
the law to motivate, inspire, regulate, or even guide the believer. Believers are motivated by love,
inspired by gratitude, regulated by grace, and guided by the Holy
Spirit. The whole Word of God, the complete
revelation of His will is our law. Our lives are governed by
love, not by fear, We walk by faith not by legislation. We
walk in the spirit not in the flesh Please see romans 8 verses
9 through 14 and galatians 3 3 That was from preacher scott richardson
a reading from psalm 18 verses 1 through 3 I will love thee,
O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress,
and my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust,
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the Lord, who
is worthy to be praised. So shall I be saved from mine
enemies. Hallelujah. Absolute security. The words of our Lord Jesus Christ
found in John chapter 10 verse 27 through 29 is one of the strongest
statements to be found in the scriptures, guaranteeing the
security of every child of God. Number one, my sheep. They are
his sheep and he died for them. Number two, I know them, says
Christ. He has always known and loved
his people. Number three, they follow me.
And another shepherd they will not follow. Number four, I give
them eternal life. It is his free gift to them.
Number five, they shall never perish. How can one perish for
whom Christ died? Number six, no man has the power
to take them out of my hand, says the Lord Jesus. And number
seven, my father gave them to me and me to them. Number eight,
no man is able to take them out of my father's hand. The sheep
of Christ have a double security. They are in his hand and in the
hand of the father. To suggest that any of his sheep
could finally be lost is to blaspheme the Lord God himself. That was
from preacher Henry Mahan. Those who have been saved are
those who are being saved. Those who have learned of Christ
and those who are learning of Him. Those who know the Lord
are those who desire to know Him. Those who have seen the
glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ are those who continue
to cry, Lord, I beseech Thee, show me Thy glory. These are
the people. But who by the grace of God can
say as for me I will behold thy face in righteousness I shall
be satisfied when I awake with thy likeness psalm 17 15 That
was for preacher Maurice Montgomery our Lord Jesus Christ's prayer
for us The master says in his high priestly prayer of John
chapter 17 in verse 9 I pray for them I pray not for the world
but for them which thou hast given me for they are thine own
The prayer of the believer's high priest is like all his redeeming
works, effectual, particular, and satisfying to God. The intercession
of the Lord Jesus Christ on behalf of his people is always according
to the perfect will of God. See John 4, 34. Therefore, everything
that he prays for shall be accomplished. Isaiah 46, verse nine through
12. Here are at least six things
that he prays for every believer. This ought to encourage us greatly.
Number one, he prays for our preservation. Holy Father, keep
through thine own name those whom thou hast given me that
they may be one as we are. There is absolutely no possibility
that one of his elect will ever perish. His covenant, his word,
and his atonement are certain guarantees to our complete and
everlasting salvation. He prays for our jubilation.
And now come I to thee and these things I speak in the world that
they may know have my joy fulfilled in them, says the Lord. Every
believer has abundant reasons to always rejoice in the Lord,
but mainly it is in this, the Lord Jesus Christ himself. He
is made unto us all that we need to stand before God accepted. Number three, he prays for our
emancipation. I pray not that thou shouldest
take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them
from the evil. Our Lord has set the believer
free from the bondage of sin, the curse of the law, the grasp
of the devil, and the power of death. Number four, he prays
for our sanctification. Sanctify them through thy truth,
thy word is truth. And for their sakes, I sanctify
myself that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
Our Lord Jesus has set himself apart in the covenant of grace
to be the believer's sanctification through his sacrifices. Number
five, he prays for our unification. that they all may be one, as
thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may
be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent
me. No question that our sin has separated us from God. However,
because of the substitutionary work of the Lord Jesus Christ
did for his elect, we shall be reconciled unto God forever. Number six. He prays for our
glorification. Father, I will that they also
whom thou has given me be with me where I am, that they may
know or that they may behold my glory. Excuse me. Every time
a believer is taken home, this prayer is answered. See Psalm
116, Romans 8, 28 through 30, Revelation 5, 9 through 12. That
was from preacher Tom Harding of Zebulon Grace Church, located
in Pikeville, Kentucky, USA. How can God show me mercy? Have you ever thought to yourself,
how could God ever accept a sinner like me? We look at ourselves
in the mirror of God's word and it reveals our wretchedness and
depravity. Since our guilt is unquestionable
and our wickedness is clearly set forth in the scripture. Since
our own hearts condemn us of being not only sinners by nature,
but also by choice and action. We wonder, how can it be that
God would embrace us? How can God save such vile and
sinful creatures? The answer is that our reception,
acceptance, and welcome as sons of God is because of the righteous
obedience of that Holy One who came to live and die in our stead.
Whoever lives to make intercession for us. See Romans 8 34. Christ
Jesus himself fulfilling or fulfilled all righteousness for us, the
crowning act of His obedience was His bloody death on the cross,
which fully satisfied all the demands of God's holy justice.
As we look to Christ for full salvation, so the Father looks
to Christ for complete satisfaction, to all of His just requirements. Think of it this way, the eye
of the Father and the eye of the sinner are focused on Christ.
And when our eye of faith grows dim, when our confidence is weak,
and we scarcely see him, still our salvation is secure, dependent
upon the Father's view of the Son. As it is written, when I
see the blood, God said to the Israelites, I will pass over
you. Yes, by faith, regenerate sinners, see the blood, rejoice
in Christ's redemption and rest their internal safety upon the
Lamb of God, once slain for the ungodly. God does not, however,
look upon us with favor nor declares to be righteous because of our
weak and imperfect view of the blood. Our acceptance is based
upon the Father's view and acceptance of the just as satisfying obedience
of His Son. That was from preacher Jim Bird
of 13th Street Baptist Church located in Ashland, Kentucky. It is written in Isaiah 45, 22,
where our Lord Jesus commands, look unto me and be saved, all
the ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none else. The
Lord Jesus Christ also says in Matthew 11, 28 through 30, come
unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give
you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek
and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest unto your souls. For
my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Friends, it is imperative
that you flee to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow, for none
of us are promised another day on this planet. Today is the
day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ while he may be found, and seek him while he
is near. Only by being in Christ, the
ark of our salvation, may we be delivered from the fierce
wrath of almighty God, which is coming soon upon the wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken His sleeping elect
and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around the world
to His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord, our righteousness,
Yehovah Sidkenu. Bless the name, Baruch Hashem,
Holy One of Israel, Hagadosh Yisrael, hallelujah. Holy, holy,
holy, Lord God Almighty, which was and is and is to come. Great is our Lord Jesus Christ,
and greatly to be praised. Take heart, friends, our mighty
and glorious King of Glory is inbound for his afflicted saints. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Maranatha.
