Warm greetings, friends, near
and far. The Lord Jesus Christ be magnified
forever and ever. His loving kindnesses, tender
mercies, and compassions are new every morning. Great is His
faithfulness. His mercy endureth forever. This
is Sinner Saved, coming at you with the following short evangelistic
gospel message, which is sponsored by preacher Wayne Boyd. and the
Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus at First Baptist Church
located in Almonte, Michigan, USA. And God willing, this broadcast
will reach you, Lima Charlie, loud and clear. It is my hope
and prayer unto God most high, the only holy father, that his
only begotten son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our righteousness, be
greatly exalted, that his everlasting gospel be clearly proclaimed,
that the pride of mere flesh and blood men be humbled, and
that his elect saints be greatly encouraged, cheered, and comforted
in these evil and perilous days. Please consider having paper
and pencil handy to jot down the scriptural references for
your own follow-up study. And so we begin with the weekend
gospel message to follow for all hands. Heads up! Please find
enclosed encouragement in so great salvation by the perfect
and finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ in saving poor,
needy, and wretched sinners by His sovereign free grace. That
is to say, Almighty God, in His unmerited favor to save me and
you from our sins and from hell. The most popular idol that unregenerate
people worship is the idol of their own self-righteousness
and self-will by which they imagine that their salvation is in some
way conditioned on themselves rather than on the Lord Jesus
Christ alone. worshiping at the altar of their
own works and or their own wills. They boldly proclaim that it
is they themselves, not Christ, who really makes the difference
between salvation and damnation. Worshiping at this same altar,
they deny the true sovereign ineffectual love, grace, mercy,
and justice of God, who saves his people, meaning sinners,
freely by his grace through the merits of the righteousness of
Christ freely imputed and received by God-given faith. God himself
in his word proclaims the utter sinfulness and depravity of all
people by nature. He proclaims his absolute sovereignty
in salvation by his grace and mercy in Christ and not by the
works or wills of spiritually dead sinners. He proclaims The
Lord God Almighty proclaims, I will have mercy on whom I will
have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that
willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.
Romans 9, verses 15 and 16. To deny these truths is to forsake
the true and living God and turn to idols. That was from preacher
Bill Parker. Without fault before the throne
of God, weak hearts are apt to sit down troubled and discouraged
when they look upon the body of sin which is in them and those
imperfections which attend their best services. They are ready
to say, we shall one day perish by the strength of our lusts
or by the defects of our services. Oh, but to strengthen them against
all discouragements, they should remember this, that they stand
before God clothed with the righteousness of their Savior. They are without
fault before the throne of God. See Revelation 14, 5. There is
no flaw in God's account. God looks upon weak saints in
the son of his love and sees them all lovely. Ah, poor souls,
you are apt to look upon your spots and blots, and to cry out
with the leper, not only unclean, unclean, undone, undone. Well, forever remember this,
that you stand before Almighty God in the righteousness of Christ,
upon which account you always appear before the throne of God
without fault. Outstanding. That's from old-timer
preacher Thomas Brooks. Zechariah 6, 13, and the council
of peace shall be between them both. With what rapture and ecstasy
of soul the good old patriarch Israel heard of his son Joseph,
not only alive, but also governor of the land of Egypt. It is enough,
said he, as though he could enjoy no more. How then ought the hearts
of poor sinners to be filled with joy and fired with transport
to hear that their friend and brother Jesus lives forevermore,
that the government is upon his shoulders, and that he is their
king and their priest upon his throne, that the council of peace
is established, fixed, and unalterably established between the father
and him on their account. Surely if we believe this, as
verily as Jacob believed the report concerning his son, we
shall also cry out with him, it is enough, perfectly sufficient. More joyful news cannot be heard. More comfortable truth cannot
be believed. Fuller evidence cannot be desired. Stronger proofs cannot be given
that is revealed of the covenant transactions of the adorable
Trinity in behalf of sinners of mankind. Here is the Lord
of hosts and the man, the blessed man who is called the branch.
And see we not a third person in the divine essence for the
establishing of faith, be it ever remembered. Though the Father
and the Son only are often mentioned in Scripture, yet the Lord the
Spirit in His office is evidently to be seen and clearly to be
known for whatever is concomitant and agreed. between God the Father
and Son is manifested and revealed and enjoyed in the heart of the
Holy Spirit. We had never heard of this blessed
peace had it not been by the Holy Ghost through the Word of
Truth. Therefore, it is the Spirit that
bears witness because the Spirit is truth. 1 John 5, 6. Ever bear this in thy mind, disciple,
as thou hadst not known sin, but by the law, so thou couldst
not have any knowledge of peace and pardon, but by the gospel
through the spirit. He is the revealer, sealer, and
applier of all grace, peace, love, and holiness. The love
of the Father is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost
given unto us. It's also written, he shall testify
of me, saith Jesus. All my members shall be taught
of him. In John 16, 14, Christ said, he shall glorify me. Here is a peace established between
heaven and earth, between the righteous Lord and sinful man,
firm as a rock, durable as the ages of eternity. God the Father
is the author of this peace. Jesus hath obtained this peace
by the blood of his cross. Rebels and traitors against God
are made the subjects of this peace. The spirit begets faith
in the heart. He applies the peace of God,
which passes all understanding to the soul through the faith
of Jesus. And through all in nature, sin,
Satan, and the world are at war with us. Still, this is our glory. Jesus is our peace. Ephesians 2.14. That was old
timer preacher, William Mason, who preached that approximately
year of our Lord 1780 or so. Psalms 24 three, who shall ascend
into the hill of the Lord and who shall stand in his holy place? If the foundation were not in
the very essence of the Godhead, it might possibly fail. Well,
as it is in God himself, it stands immutable forever. Therefore,
all that believe are built impregnable upon the rock of ages, having
the immutability of his counsel confirmed by an oath, that by
two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to
lie, you might have a strong consolation. If thus we can believe
in the Father, there can be no ground to doubt the grace and
truth that is revealed in the Son. Now they have known that
all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. Thus, he
that believes in the full virtue and perfect efficacy of the sufferings
of Christ, and that his blood being shed on the behalf of his
people was a complete propitiation for their sins and adequate satisfaction
to all the demands of the holy law of God, to remove the curse,
to cancel all condemnation, to bring in everlasting righteousness
forever, to justify the ungodly, being justified freely by His
grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. For Jesus Christ being truly
the Son of Man was capable of suffering in the very same kind
As the law required us to suffer, or as our transgressions justly
deserved, he, the Lord Jesus, being by the appointment of Almighty
God, constituted our mediator and representative, was properly
adapted to answer for our faults and to suffer in our stead, who
his own self bear our sins in his own body on the tree. And
being very God, was perfectly qualified to give a sufficiency
to those sufferings, that his death should be an undeniable
ransom for our sins. Who through the eternal spirit
offered himself without spot to God, for by one offering he
hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. That was an excerpt
from a writing by preacher John Johnson, entitled Riches of Gospel
Grace, and that was prepared in the year of our Lord, 1776.
Safe and secure in his blessed hands, Sin is the bane and plague of
a child of God. It is his heart and in his thoughts
and he cannot get rid of it. It goes with him wherever he
goes and abides with him wherever he stays. And the misery which
he feels on account of these things often makes him cry out
with Job. Oh Lord, I am vile. What a wretch
I am. I tell you, my friends, if I
were called by others what I frequently call myself, it would make me
very angry. I would not like to be called
such ugly names. But I cannot find any language
vile enough to call myself in my own mind. The poor soul finds
language beggared in describing what he sees of the depravity,
guilt, and wretchedness of his evil heart and fallen nature.
But the mercy is, poor sinner, though you are black in yourself,
you are beautiful and lovely and without spot in a precious
Christ. See Songs of Solomon, chapter
one, verse five, and also chapter four, verse seven. You are quite
safe and secure in his blessed hands. He has put away all your
sins and iniquities and has blotted them out as a thick cloud, Isaiah
44, 22, and says, When they are sought for, they
shall not be found. Jeremiah 50, 20. He has removed
forever the curse of the law from you. Therefore it is written,
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made
a curse for us. Galatians 3, 13. We can therefore
now sing with the poet. Believing we rejoice to see the
curse removed. We bless the lamb. with cheerful
voice and sing his bleeding love. Yes, poor soul, you will find
it all right at last. You are as sure of heaven as
though you were there already. It is the will of your father
that when you are absent from the body, you shall be present
with the Lord. The dear Redeemer will have the
purchase of his soul with him and he says father I will that
they also whom you have given me be with me where I am that
they may behold my glory said john, uh, the lord jesus in John
17 verse 24. This is often a degree of strength
comfort and consolation to living souls The poor sinner knows and
feels what he is in himself as a worthless worm but he rejoices
in Christ Jesus while he can, put no trust or confidence in
himself. I'm gonna say that again, it
bears repeating. But the sinner rejoices in Christ
Jesus alone while he can put no trust or confidence in himself. That was from preacher John Kershaw.
The Lord Jesus says in Luke 18 7, And shall not God avenge his
own elect, which cry day and night to him, though he bear
long with them? This question implies the strongest
assertion. Thus our Lord concludes a parable
he had delivered to this end, that men ought always to pray
and not to faint. Our Savior well knew how ready
His disciples' hands are to hang down and their hearts to grow
languid and faint so as to be remiss in this duty. Therefore,
His loving heart would stir up and encourage them to a constant
perseverance in prayer, assuring them that God's ears are ever
open to their cry. And His omnipotent arm would
most certainly avenge the enemies of His own elect and surely deliver
them from all their troubles. Hath the Lord loved his people
with an everlasting love? Hath he chosen them in Christ
Jesus from before the foundation of the world? Hath he given them
the precious faith of his own elect, and the cry of his children,
Abba, Father? And shall an unjust judge deliver
one whom he cares not for, and the just and holy Lord leave
any of his beloved little ones to the power of any adversary? O believer, never indulge such
a hard thought of thy heavenly Father. Doth sin make thee cry? Satan cause thee to call? The
world excite thee to complain? Blessed be God for a throne of
grace to go to, and an all-powerful king to protect and conquer for
us. Duty is thine. Be careful not
to neglect it. Deliverance is the Lord's. Be
assured in his own time, way, and manner, thou shalt receive
it. Remember, one moment before thy Lord's time would not be
thy mercy. Thy prayers, however frequent
or fervent, do not influence the Lord to elect and choose
thee to salvation. No, but the cry of a heart believing
in Jesus is an evidence of election. Therefore thou art in Christ,
always acceptable to God. So are thy prayers through him.
As it's written in Proverbs 15, 8, the prayer of the upright
is his delight. Though thy comfort may often
be damped through the coldness and deadness of thy prayers,
yet art thou to persevere conscientiously in thy duty. Why? To profess
thy subjection to the Lord. He is thy Lord. Worship thou
him. Psalm 45, 11. Therefore, prefer
a cold prayer Before none at all, better to bring words that
want a soul than neglect to bring our bodies which have souls in
them. Take with you words, it says in Hosea 14.2, and say if
you cannot take the spirit and pray. This is the only foundation
of hope of being heard, not our frames in duty, but the prevalency
of Christ's intercession for us before the throne and the
faithful promises of God in him by the word and spirit of truth.
Continue in prayer, as it's written in Colossians 4, 2. Excellent
message from preacher William Mason. It is written in Isaiah
45, 22, where our Lord Jesus Christ commands, look unto me
and be ye saved all the ends of the earth for I am God and
there is none else. The master also says in Matthew
11, verses 28 through 30, come unto me all you that labor in
our heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you
and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart. And ye shall
find rest unto your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden
is light. Friends, it is imperative that
you flee to Christ Jesus today, not tomorrow, for none of us
are promised another day on this planet. Today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ while he may be found, and seek him while he
is near. Only by being in Christ, the
ark of our salvation, may we be delivered from the fierce
wrath of Almighty God, which is coming soon upon the wicked. This about wraps up this evening's
broadcast. I trust Almighty God will awaken
His sleeping elect and draw multitudes of men, women, and children around
the world to His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the Lord our
righteousness, Yehovah Sidkenu. Bless the name. Baruch Hashem. Holy Word of Israel. Hagadosh
Yisrael. Hallelujah. Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty, which was and is and is to come. If you'd like to communicate,

you are from, what life is like where you live, and tell me how
the reception was on your shortwave radio. I look forward to writing
you back. The email address, one more time,
is thelordbmagnified at gmail.com. Great is our Lord Jesus Christ
and greatly to be praised. Take heart, friends. Our mighty
and glorious King of glory is inbound for his afflicted saints. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Maranatha.
