Can someone be saved by works?

The concept of salvation through works contradicts the teachings of the Bible. The Apostle Paul asserts in Romans 3:20 that no one will be justified by the works of the law, as everyone falls short of God's glory. Instead, salvation is a gift received through faith in Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 emphasizes that it is by grace that we are saved, not by our own efforts, to ensure that no one can boast about their salvation. Only by placing faith in Jesus Christ can sinners receive the gift of eternal life and be restored from spiritual death.
