How can I be assured that I am saved?

Answered in 1 source

You can be assured of your salvation by believing in Christ and recognizing your need as a sinner (Romans 5:6).

Assurance of salvation comes through understanding our identity in Christ and trusting in His finished work at Calvary. Romans 5:6 states that 'while we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.' This encapsulates the essence of grace—our inability to save ourselves and Christ's sufficiency to do so. Belief in Christ and His righteousness, rather than our own works, establishes the confidence that we are indeed saved. It’s this faith, grounded in His promises, that reassures us of our standing before God.
