How can I know if I am regenerated?

Answered in 1 source

You can know you are regenerated by believing in Christ, having the Holy Spirit, keeping His commandments, and loving the brethren.

Determining one's regeneration is a matter of recognizing the fruits of the Spirit's work in the life of a believer. According to 1 John 4, a regenerated person confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, meaning they genuinely acknowledge His divinity and redemptive work. Furthermore, 1 John 3:24 highlights that the Holy Spirit is given to believers, assuring them of their relationship with God. A true believer will also desire to keep God's commandments, as stated in 1 John 2:3-5, reflecting their love for God and His truth. Importantly, 1 John 3:14 reveals that love for fellow believers is a significant indicator of regeneration. When these traits manifest in a person's life, they have evidence of their spiritual rebirth.
