How can we assure ourselves of our faith in God's Word?

Answered in 1 source

Assurance comes from desiring to be under the teaching of God’s truth and recognizing the effectual work of God in our hearts.

True assurance of faith does not come from self-reflection or introspection; instead, it is found in our desire to be where the truth of God is preached. This is evidence that God has separated us from the world, as demonstrated by our hunger for the Word (Acts 17:4) and our belief in the Gospel. Furthermore, when we receive the Word of God not as a human document but as it truly is, it works effectually in us, solidifying our faith and drawing us closer to Him (1 Thessalonians 2:13).
