How can we be confident that we will be blameless in the day of judgment?

Answered in 1 source

Believers are confident in their blamelessness because of Christ's atoning work and God's faithfulness.

The assurance of being blameless before God on the day of judgment rests entirely upon the finished work of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 1:8, Paul encourages the believers by affirming that they will be confirmed to the end, remaining blameless at the coming of Christ. This promise is grounded in the faithfulness of God, who has called us into fellowship with His Son (1 Corinthians 1:9). Our standing before God is not based on our performance but on the righteousness and blood of Jesus, which has cleansed us from all sins. As outlined in Ephesians 1:4, we are made holy and without blame in God's sight, emphasizing that our ultimate hope lies in Christ's abiding grace.
