How do we cope with trials and afflictions as Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are encouraged to endure trials, knowing they yield spiritual growth and righteousness.

In facing trials and afflictions, Christians are called to lift their hands and encourage each other, as demonstrated in Hebrews 12:12-13: 'Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees.' This passage reminds us that while trials may seem grievous at the moment, they ultimately produce 'the peaceable fruit of righteousness' for those who are trained by them. Such experiences teach us patience, humility, and dependence on God. We are assured that God is with us through these challenges, providing strength and comfort.
