How do we know Christ cleanses us from sin?

Answered in 2 sources

Christ cleanses us from sin through His sacrifice and power, offering real salvation to the unclean.

The cleansing from sin provided by Christ is demonstrated through His encounters with those suffering from leprosy, as seen in the Gospels. When He touched the leper and declared him clean, this act not only showcased Christ’s compassion but also highlighted His unique authority to heal and restore. Levitical laws served as a foreshadowing of the ultimate cleansing in Christ. The Scriptures affirm that only through Him can we be made clean (as referenced in the account of Naaman) because all human efforts to remedy our sin are futile. Therefore, we must recognize that, like the lepers, we depend solely on Christ to provide the cleansing we cannot achieve on our own.
